Butterfly would have been a good choice and light tears even better, YDNY was to camp for a main single and I think how YDNY was handled was the right way.

There was a multitude of singles on Light Years that could have served so well.

Your Disco Needs You is camp to the full and works in the capacity it was handled.

I prefer disco down, under the influence, bittersweet goodbye, butterfly and light years to all of the singles apart from your disco needs needs you.

Your disco needs you would have appealed to the LGBTQ community but I think it’s too cheesy to have become a more widespread hit.

I did indeed but I loved tge songs I listed from the very first listen of the album and still love them, the singles are good aswell it's just I prefer those songs. Spinning around I love what it did for her career and it's good but it would be in the bottom 5 songs on the album and I also prefer its b side paper dolls which again i loved from the from the first time I heard it. Light years was just such a strong kylie album, there is so much to love about it.

All these songs like the album they are housed on have amazing qualities making it a legendary Kylie album.

Light Years was about returning Kylie to her roots and it ticked every box required.

Kylie had one of the most amazing comebacks with Light Years and showed the world how wrong they were to write her off only 2 years prior.

As comebacks go I know I couldn't have asked for more, light years was exactly what I wanted from Kylie.

It was an amazing return to form for Kylie and I am sure the journey to returning to Number 1involved many obstacles and hard decisions.

oh def the case as kylie knew she had to nail it or she may not get a another chance, fair play to has to be said signing kylie as the signing was a gamble based on how IP performed but thank god they did and look how well it all worked out.

Been listening a lot to 'Under The Influence of Love' as a mood-lifter during this lockdown.

Haha it got it myself, just a little treat! It looks absolutely beautiful and also it was my first Kylie album, all those 20 years ago, so it's quite special to me. :wub:

I like buying things like that for myself especially when its something i really want.

I get very excited as I await making purchases that I am excited about.

I always have that feeling on release week of kylie albums.

Premier of new singles, mainly lead singles is exciting too.
