It was also voted the #1 track in the 2012 round although it is the 2nd-highest from that year in the final rate, with 'Spectrum' still to come. Calvin and Avicii are together again with 'Feel So Close' being Calvin's 5th-most popular track, and 'Lonely Together' the 4th-highest for Avicii. It was voted the best track of 2017 originally but again it's now been overtaken in the final, by Jax Jones whose 'Breathe' lands a place above - 'Symphony' from the year is also yet to come. Meanwhile the track that really took off the career of Kygo 'Firestone' lands as his 2nd-highest entry.

Jess Glynne – Rather Be 2014: 3rd / 181p | 7.9688 25 Kygo & Whitney Houston – Higher Love 2019: 2nd / 193p | 7.9375 As it turns out Kygo's top 2 tracks are about as great as each other according to the site as 'Higher Love' ends up a place above 'Firestone'. It became his most recent big hit and was his all-time biggest in the UK chart, helped by a great vocal from Whitney Houston who hadn't seen the chart with newly released material since 2009. Clean Bandit's turn from somewhat mainstream act to massive chart force started with 'Rather Be' which became one of the absolute biggest hits of the decade in the UK and launched the career of Jess Glynne. It is their 2nd highest track here. Wankelmut & Emma Louise managed to get 'My Head Is A Jungle' to be a big hit following MK's remix which is voted MK's best of the decade here. Duke Dumont had his mainstream breakthrough with 'Need U', becoming a UK #1, but it can only be his 2nd-highest here as 'Ocean Drive' is still yet to come. It just misses out on a top 20 spot on tiebreak, alongside Zhu's breakthrough hit 'Faded' which became one of the big tracks of the deep house era.

June 27, 20205 yr Author 20 Avicii – Wake Me Up 2013: 5th / 176p | 8.0313 Starting the top 20 is a song I think is way too low, it recently had its 7th birthday and all these years later still sounds amazing, it's my 2nd fave here behind another Avicii track still to come. It became Avicii's biggest ever hit and one of the biggest selling and most streamed songs of the decade. 19 Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa – One Kiss 2018: 1st / 209p | 8.0313 Calvin has the most top 20 appearances with four and surprisingly this is the lowest of them. It is one of my personal faves of his too and top 20 of the decade feels about right for it. It's also by some way Dua Lipa's best dance track. 18 Galantis – Runaway (U & I) 2015: 14th / 72p | SF2: 10th / 98p | 8.1250 The biggest over performance in the top 20 comes from Galantis who wouldn't even be here if I'd have skipped semi-finals. It is their only track in the final and judging by their past few years of output they won't ever make a song half as good as this again. 17 Jax Jones feat. Raye – You Don't Know Me 2016: 3rd / 194p | 8.2188 Another of my absolute faves here this time the breakthrough hit for Jax Jones as a primary performer, it also gave Raye her biggest hit. Jax still has 'All Day And Night' to come which could potentially be top 10. 16 Avicii vs. Nicky Romero – I Could Be The One 2013: 8th / 160p | SF2: 2nd / 156p | 8.2188 Sadly another Avicii track drops out and it's another all time fave, it is his second-highest track in the rundown. It was also the only significant chart hit for Nicky Romero and vocalist Noonie Bao.

As for Disciples it is their highest track here by some distance although 'On My Mind' is acc my fave of theirs. 14 Sigala & Becky Hill – Wish You Well 2019: 4th / 167p | 8.2500 Voted into the top 40 dance tunes of all time last year maybe too soon, it proves itself a year on from release making the top 15 here. It is the top tune for Sigala however Becky still has 'Gecko' to come in the top 10. 13 Disclosure feat. AlunaGeorge – White Noise 2013: 7th / 165p | SF1: 3rd / 129p | 8.2813 It may have been outsold by 'Latch' but it is their follow-up that is voted their best here. They haven't been able to come up with a tune quite as great ever since although they've been rather consistent anyhow and cemented themselves as one of my faves. 12 Duke Dumont – Ocean Drive 2015: 3rd / 119p | 8.3438 Beating both of his UK #1s it is 'Ocean Drive' that manages to be Duke Dumont's highest track here, which isn't even a surprise anymore as it has proven itself before having been voted the best track to have missed the top 40 due to the introduction of streaming. It's not my fave of his but it's re-grown on me a bit since the album release and me discovering the extended version. 11 Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris – We Found Love 2011: 1st / 251p | 8.3750 Just missing a top 10 place is what is usually the forum's favourite Rihanna and Calvin track, but Calvin still has his 'Spectrum' remix in the top 10 in this poll. Personally I think this should really be top 10 ahead of a few songs yet to come and I'm surprised it's not there.

June 27, 20205 yr Titanium/Gecko to win. Both of them are untouchable in terms of modern dance hits. Hideaway is ridiculously overrated imo, extremely uneventful song. Would not have that in the top 10 at all personally.

Starting its life an instrumental it introduced the world to Oliver Heldens when Tiësto heard it and released it on his label. Thanks to the success of this track Oliver became one of the leaders in future house. This was released when the sub-genre was brand new and this track particularly sounded so amazing and fresh. He was only 18 when he produced the track too! For the UK release Becky Hill added her vocal, having wrote the lyrics with MNEK - and it was her breakthrough hit. +++ 9 Jax Jones & Martin Solveig present Europa feat. Madison Beer – All Day And Night 2019: 1st / 202p | 8.4688 jfreFPe99GU Out of his numerous appearances it is this track which is the highest in the rundown for Jax Jones, and also for collaborator Martin Solveig. Released as the first track of their Europa project, it was also the only to have come out in the decade as we had to wait nearly a year for 'Tequila'. With its big eurodance reminiscent synths and pop hook it was of course an instant Buzzjack fave, and I was a big fan too (even if I'm otherwise not keen on Madison Beer). I think top 10 is a bit too high for this especially given it's only a year old, so we'll have to see how it ages.
