May 18, 20205 yr Charlene remains my favourite soap character with Scott and Charlene the best soap couple. Such endearing characters with a lasting legacy. Characters that changed both Kylie and Jasons life forever.
May 18, 20205 yr Author Legendary and are so well remembered, the incredible success of neighbours back then was something else, its audience for it's time slot is unbeaten. The real life relationship really added to the huge interest in Kylie and Jason.

June 4, 20205 yr Charlene could easily make a visit in Remsey Street, staying with her brother in law Paul and saying hi to gal Jane, but what about Emma? Is there a character on Home & Away who still knows or is even connected to her?
June 4, 20205 yr Author Ya both have the links to return, I dont watch home and away anymore its years since i followed it and while I'd stopped watching neighbours i got back into it about 5 or 6 years ago and watch it regularly now and they have been really good at bringing back some of the old characters and making them fit in really well to the show. As much as I'd love even a one episode guest appearance from charlene i also get why kylie wont return as charlene left a lasting legacy with long term fans of the show and it could be best to just hold the memory where it is.

June 4, 20205 yr Would be so cool for Kylie and Dannii to do one off returns to the show for a big occasion, they are both such huge household names the biggest to come from either show. I mean I don't watch either and never have but I know all about Charlene and Scott and Emma. I have no idea what Holly Valance's, Natalie Imbruglia's, Guy Perarce's or Chris Hemsworth's characters were called, so it says a lot about their legacy to the shows.
June 4, 20205 yr Author I would have watched neighbours when all those names were in the show and were fairly decent characters, i didn't watch neighbours in the years Delta Goodrem was part of the show or margot robbie, i slightly know a bit about delta goodrems character but nothing of margot robbie. I do think if kylie ever agreed to a return Jason donovan would have to agree aswell, i think now that kylie and jason have had a few crossovers in real life its a little more possible than it once was. I think many fans are happy just believing scott and charlene are still madly in love and happy out in Brisbane. Who knows maybe when the 40th anniversary comes round they might appear.

June 4, 20205 yr Author Ya Neighbours were really churning out the hits at that time, i was a big jason and kylie fan and bought all their releases, i also bought stefan dennis single and i really liked mona by Craig McLachlan, and lets not forget the Blakney Twins who i was suprised bombed especially with all mixed up, wanna be your lover was very dannii love and kisses sounding ftHdwT-Zq90 UoSTPZ5EOK8
