Reading the Shallow thread back, on the week it first got to #1 officially, Shallow never got higher than #5 on Spotify! On the Friday it was announced as #1, it climbed to #4 on Spotify!

 

In its second week at #1, it got to #2 on Spotify part way through that week.

 

That gives me more hope for Rain On Me now!

It’s radio push in the US is decent so far but I was expecting a bigger push initially considering the names involved

At this point in its run Stuck With U was already #50 but ROM hasn’t entered the top 100 yet - I hope this doesn’t prevent it going #1 after all the effort fans put in buying and streaming (although I’m not 100% sure how the radio charts work in the US so maybe it’ll get a bigger push in a few days)

It only went to adds officially on Tuesday (yesterday)!. Anything before Tuesday is just radio's excitement to get the song out there. So it's from now we will see its true impact on radio and can track its progress.

It won't also have the 8th day impact at all with this tactic.

Billboard decreased the percentage of airplay on the Hot 100 by 20% from this week on, so the possibility of rain on me becoming number #1 is even bigger! :w00t:
