Right? The album spent the whole week between #14-#16 on AM UK and the streams on Spotify UK are good, how can it be at #70 on the streaming chart? Something's not sitting right. :unsure:

 

Take a look here as well and look at what’s charting above her on streaming and then compare that to Apples chart!

 

It’s baffling. I wish Spotify had an album streaming chart to look at so we could compare. But the OCC need to look into album streams and the chart because a lot of albums are way too high off the success of like one track on that album.

Not Gaga related but Drakes Scorpion is back ahead of his most recent mixtape officially yet it’s way behind it on Apple Musics streaming chart and streaming is his biggest market and he always does very well on Apple too.

 

Then there’s TD ahead of Chromatica when it’s not even top 100 (or even 200 I don’t think) on Apple! It doesn’t make sense I kinda need it explained to me how it all works :lol:

also out of interest does it count towards the charts if I’ve deleted Chromatica from my library (the paid copy I have off the iTunes Store) and I then go onto Apple Music to stream it?

We should be higher come week end but I really hope the VMAs and a new single make an impact next week.

Gaga is so promo-sensitive, the VMA will do wonders but I hope there's more coming. Chromatica deserves more weeks in the top 40!

Considering that there are so many GH's above thanks to ancient hits, I'm not too bothered. Of course it would be great, if it could still be top 40.

I can't at Maroon 5's GH being above Chromatica (#58) this week on UK album chart.

This streaming situation in the albums chart is awful :(

 

#58 isn’t exactly terrible for a week 13 position for a Gaga album after how ARTPOP and Joanne performed but it would be higher if albums being listened to as a whole was how they counted sales.

 

I wonder how VMAs will help out though it’s come at a good time so hopefully we will see a climb next week I’d take anything even legit #57 :lol: just as long as it doesn’t drop!

The album chart is just a Greatest Hits chart now.

VMA's should help it position-wise, albums are so close to each other. Even 100 units might mean 5 positions.
