UK midweeks: not in top 100. Anyone know the status?

 

Might drop out this week anyway.

Welll out of the top 100 (#128 ) so no chance of it remaining there this week unfortunately!

Still better than The Vamps!

 

This week is packed with new entries again. Everyone and their grandfathers are top 100 in midweeks.

Well done Gaga... everytime I see the Born This Way cover though lol wtf!?

I don't think it's necessary to explain that Chromatica's second (and probably last) official single was released in May, while Future Nostalgia is already on its fourth single, which even had 2 remixes, one with a living legend and a viral DJ and another this month with the hottest rapper in the US game right now.

 

Not to mention that Future Nostalgia had an entire remix album that was released this year. Also, the Chromatica era had only one performance during the whole era (literally), while Dua has performed like 30 times during the Future Nostalgia era since 2019. Not to mention that Dua was denounced by Rolling Stone in the payola scandal of US radio as one of the artists who pays to be played on the radio, while Gaga isn't on the list.

 

Not to mention that Gaga literally dropped Chromatica and then disappeared from the map for 3 months, reappearing only to promote it at the VMAs. It's also worth saying that she boycotted her own album, not promoting it on the release week, supporting BLM protests (she was literally the only artist with new stuff out to close her own store, while 80% of the other artists continued to sell their junk without giving a shit).

 

You can be sure that if Chromatica had at least half the promotion that Future Nostalgia had and still has things would be totally different. ^_^

I don't even like Dua Lipa personally and I love Gaga... but my god your attitude makes me totally root for the one I don't like. So off-putting.

 

By your logic all of Gaga's previous albums are nowhere as successful as those who sold less than her in those respective years, as nobody promoted more than Gaga did for The Fame, The Fame Monster, Born This Way and Artpop.

It might not return top 100 before the collector's edition is out (Nov 20).

Interesting to watch if Bruce Springsteen can beat Gaga's opening sales on UK album chart. He is at 41.9k. For Gaga, we didn't have Tuesday mids but she was at 45.6k on Wednesday. Pretty neck-on-neck.

I was just wondering if there’s any pre order info sales on this. I hope it makes a return to the charts but it is quite ££.

I don't think it'll sell much, maybe 500 copies in the UK, but that'd be enough for top 75 or thereabouts.

Doesn't look like Bruce is beating Gaga's first week sales now :D over to Ariana next week who will surely do it ~

Out of UK Top 100 as expected, but Bruce didn't beat her opening sales so it's a tiny victory lol
