Posted November 23, 200618 yr Gallagher slams Sisters, bigs up Bee Gees Thursday, November 23 2006, 11:14 UTC - by Ben Rawson-Jones Noel Gallagher has expressed his intense dislike for pop group Scissor Sisters - and his huge debt to The Bee Gees. In an interview with Spin magazine, the Oasis mastermind admitted: "I particularly loathe Scissor Sisters. I like 'Laura' from the first record, but it's bland music for squares, man. They're huge in England, but there's no accounting for bad taste as far as the English are concerned." Gallagher also revealed a surprise influence on his career - The Bee Gees. "[They're] right up there with The Beatles in terms of how I learned to like music and how I was influenced as a songwriter." What to you think of Nol Gallagher's comments?
November 23, 200618 yr Well, I'm not overly impressed with 'Ta Dah' at all. Their debut album was good though. But Im not suprised. I mean they are the complete oppisite to Noel and everything he stands for.

November 23, 200618 yr they are oppsoite alright but good in a different way, they are very talented and i think ta dah was a brilliant follow up,
November 23, 200618 yr it's funny that SS are massive oasis fans. I remember Ana saying she would love to do a record with Oasis.
November 24, 200618 yr Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if Noel is a bit narrow minded at times. I think Ta Dah is brilliant, personally.
November 24, 200618 yr Noel is funny most of time but sometimes he goes to far. What he said about Robbie WIlliams in todays Sun was out of order!!
November 25, 200618 yr he alwasys like to have a go at someone and its usually some one who can sell more album than himself
November 29, 200618 yr I always knew he was a twit, personally I don't think that he's all that hot of a singer. :arrr: :arrr:
November 29, 200618 yr Well he likes to have a go at everyone, I'm sure they don't really mind, as long the public buy the songs.
November 30, 200618 yr I personally adore 'Ta Dah' and think it is so much better than their debut album. 'Ta Dah' is so silky and slick and in my opinion there are so many songs which are good enough to be released as singles'. I think the best most single worthy songs on the album are 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin' 'She's My Man' 'I Can't Decide' 'Land Of A Thousand Words' 'Kiss You Off' and possibly 'Paul McCartney although I'm not too sure on that one. What songs from the album do you think are the best single worthy songs that should be released? Edited November 30, 200618 yr by JON
