Hey leww, great to see “Kim & Jessie” what a brilliant throwback 2008 classic, I'll have to stick on Saturdays = Youth later. : )

 

Yeah I've been retreating to music to cheer me up in these socially distant times and it works for me - nothing lifts my mood more lately than BANGING ON a bit of S.O.S. Band's “Just Be Good To Me” or Patrice Rushen’s “Forget Me Nots” which I've just realised were both sampled marvelously by number 1 hits in the 1990s!

 

Anyhoo, I need to check the new Franky Wah track, really enjoyed “Get Me High” last year and his cover of Olive.

New Order's True Faith has been a big lockdown fave for me too - and yes definitely the '94 version. Like Dr B, I've found myself retreating back to the 80s, 90s and 00s for lots of stuff to just stick on and soundtrack the nothingness. Blueboy's 'Remember Me' has been a particular fave, along with All Seeing I's 'The Beat Goes On' - plus some glorious rediscoveries of Mary Mary, SWV and some other 80s and 90s soul stuff :wub:
