Out of those qualifiers I'm most shocked about Alphabeat, Sam Sparro and GJP making it through. :o They all seem very forgotten about compared to the songs that reached between 11 and 20. Britney now has 6 qualifiers! :o Also fitting to see Katy Perry make the final rate - I don't know whether she features in the 2009 list so this is likely to be her only appearance. I associate her with the noughties as much as I do the tens so it's good she's made it in. I expect Gaga domination tomorrow. :drama: Seriously, if she gets all 4 of her entries into the top 10... maybe we should have capped the songs as two per artist each heat.

 

I still hear Sam Sparro on radio a lot especially on Scott Mills show so I hardly would say that is forgotten by the public. The other two maybe. None are massively forgotten here either.. Not that I see anyway!

 

Very strong list of qualifiers there. 'Don't Stop The Music' was the proper turning point of me starting to like Rihanna excluding TAB which was a quick step back in the wrong direction until 'Disturbia' picked it up again so good that's top 10!

Little Boots starts the top 20 with her one and only true hit 'Remedy'. I always knew Little Boots was a BJ darling but I personally don't find the song that good, especially listening to it now it just sounds little outdated.

I Gotta Feelin' might be BEP biggest song but in this heat it finishes below 'Meet Me Halfway'. I don't know what happened here but I think this deserved to qualify to the finals, it's such a undeniably huge anthem!!!

Buzzjack did dirrty on Agnes :kink: she ends up #17 after being Top 10 halfway through!!!. Then in last 14 sets of votes no one pointed her except the last set where she got the top points, but that was just enough to bring her back to Top 20.

Taylor Swift big breakthrough hit 'Love Story' finishes #16. I think it did exceptionally well considering she doesn't do country any longer. At least she finished higher than any Kanye West song ever did :kink:

#15 Cheryl Cole "Fight for This Love" 153

Now this one I thought it has enough fans to take her all the way to the Top 10 and considering the fact that Girls Aloud managed to send three song in the final!!!. But UK sweetheart ends up #15 and this was also in and out of top 10 from time to time, as every other song you'll see from now and on. It was a tight race for that precious #10!!!

Now this caught me off the guard when I was adding scores. I have no memories of this song at all and I had to listen to it out of curiosity. And then of course I knew the song but I never knew who sang it. Amazing results for these guys :clap: and almost dethroned one of the four Gaga songs

Bulletproof proves to be bigger song than 'In For The Kill' and finishes #12...only 6 points shy of #10 Well done to them for putting up a fight though!!!

And here she is!!! Gaga finishes #11 with her debut single 'Just Dance' and she is only 1 point away from #10 :drama:. I mean nothing to be dramatic about it since she actually managed to qualify and send three other songs to the final all from this very same heat :o and no other artists have managed that (Sugababes, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk all managed with two songs each and Britney did that twice in 2004 and in 2008).
