25-21:

21 Love Don't Cost A Thing - Jennifer Lopez 142 pts.

22 What Took You So Long - Emma Bunton 138 pts.

23 It's The Way You Make Me Feel - Steps 137 pts.

24 Dancing In The Moonlight - Toploader 129 pts.

25 It Wasn't Me - Shaggy featuring Ricardo "Rikrok" Ducent 125 pts.

And the #1 in YEC only manages #25 in this countdown.

Emma Bunton almost got to Top 20 with 'What Took You So Long' :emma: omg there is no Emma emoji :melaniec: :melb: MessT.

And the biggest surprise in this section for me is J.Lo with 'Love Don't Cost A Thing'. Poor her cause I don't think she'll have a chance with other songs to go higher, and you would think she was pretty significant in 00's decade!!!!

I'm hoping J.Lo can at least qualify with 'Get Right' (assuming she made it into the 2005 list - that's your year so I can't remember ) These three are all classics!

I didn't realise Rapture would be remembered enough to be this high

Another Chance - Roger Sanchez

Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz

Ms. Jackson - Outkast

Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus

These were my top 4 - I'll settle for half being top 10.

I forgot to include other in that sentence oops :kink:

20 Rapture - iiO 156 pts.

iiO - Rapture starts the top 20. I absolutely love the song and low key I wished it was going top 10. I guess it was not meant this time :nocheer:

19 There You'll Be - Faith Hill 157 pts.

Pearl Harbor anthem ends up at #19. I must say that I am pretty surprised that this got the support. Good song don't get me wrong but just didn't expect this to finish top 20!!!

There You'll Be nooooo  One of my fave songs of 2001 and a classic  I was hoping it'd sneak through here aha (it always did so well in the movie song competitions when we ran them)

18 Get Ur Freak On – Missy 'Misdemeanor' Elliot 158 pts.

2001 was really a year of r'n'b and hip-hop finest songs. Missy got plenty of support and at some point was in and out of top 10. I love this and it's a whole package along with music video

17 Gotta Get Thru This - Daniel Bedingfield 164 pts.

Daniel's debut single ends up #17. It's pretty good song and honestly it still sounds good today as well!!!

Not There You'll Be missing out. :drama: Although tbf #19 is a fantastic position for it.

OMG and we lose Daniel B. :drama: GGTT still sounds so amazing to this day. What a BOP.

16 I'm Like A Bird - Nelly Furtado 175 pts.

Nelly Furtado debut single 'I'm Like A Bird' finishes #16. This was also at some point in and out of the top 10. It started slow but then it picked up lots of high votes. I think it's exactly where I thought it was going to be.

15 Ms. Jackson - Outkast 176 pts.

Ahh this points closeness :drama:

Ms. Jackson ends up at #15. You'll see them again in 2003 countdown with their biggest hit 'Hey Ya'....maybe they'll have more luck with that!!!

Starlight should be up there with those other dance classics! :arrr:

This, can't believe it got outdone by that awful Geri cover.
