The point I’m making is that Savage has been on there too long and it has peaked

I kind of understand what Hadji means Radio 1 should be playing new music so once a song has peaked they should start promoting newer songs, capital can play that stuff for months on end.

He didn't mean it like that he meant it's chance of peaking at No1 had passed.

Radio 1 shouldn't just remove songs that have been out longer than x period of time though! The casual audience will want to hear songs like Savage, especially as it's still firmly in the top 10. I expect it'll probably be removed next week or the week after anyway. Quite honestly, The 1975 feel more questionable on that A list at this moment still.

I am glad Savage has had such great support from R1 though I feel like it will only be there for 1-2 more weeks. Great to see Black Parade insta-added also - whether it’ll be as longrunning as Savage I’m doubtful given the public’s reception so far but any support is good support :wub:
