July 14, 20206 yr Yes I will be following this for sure! Premier League football, an F1 race and this all in the same weekend. Times are-a changing
July 19, 20206 yr Author This venue in Milton Keynes must have made a good few quid out of matchroom in the last couple of months! Two snooker events and a ton of PDC stuff.
July 20, 20206 yr Author A guide for you all: https://www.sportinglife.com/darts/news/wor...y-player/182006
July 21, 20206 yr Author Gerwyn Price crashed out in the first round of the World Matchplay for the fourth year in a row as Danny Noppert claimed a shock 10-7 victory in Milton Keynes. The change of venue from the Winter Gardens, where he won just three matches in his five previous appearances, to the fan-less Marshall Arena failed to spark a change in his fortunes as he averaged just 90.73 in a surprisingly low-quality contest compared to others on this stage.
July 21, 20206 yr Author Simon Whitlock caused a huge upset by thrashing Michael van Gerwen 11-4 to reach the quarter-finals.
July 23, 20206 yr Author A Gary Anderson v Michael Smith semi-final then after their respective wins over Whitlock and Ratajski.
July 25, 20206 yr Author Dimitri van den Bergh is through to the final of the 2020 World Matchplay on his debut after a nail-biting 17-15 victory over Glen Durrant.
July 27, 20206 yr I expected the unique scenario to potentially yield a surprise winner but I never envisaged Dimitri being that player! He's one of those that feeds off the crowd so fair play to him for winning a big big tourno!
