9. Sing

From: Leisure (Album) Trainspotting OST (Album)

No video! :o

Little know fact about me: The Trainspotting OST is my favourite film soundtrack ever! 'Sing' benefits greatly from being on the sountrack and film, with its relentless bleak chords. A stunning song.

The perfect homage to 80s dance pop and ultimate Britpop anthem, this story of booze fuelled kids rampaging round Spain on holiday is the first Blur song I truly loved. Flawless.

Girls & Boys is amazing

The best non-single track from The Great Escape (and current Boot and Immune winner! ) Best Days is classic Blur, and has always been a favourite from the album. Tune!

16. Far Out

This, track #8 on Parklife, is a simple little tune with the names of stars and constellations spoken over it. It is indeed 'Far Out'. Wolf 359, mentioned in the song, is a refernce to Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'The Best Of Both Worlds'.

15. Top Man

A class tune from 'The Great Escape' it tells the story of an exuberent showy man, and is in no way related to the high street clothes retailer!

The story of an average man going bonkers, Tracy Jacks is inspired by Reginald Perrin and is the perfect tale of a mid-life crisis. One of the first Blur songs I really loved. Many many happy memories :D

First the song: Lead vocals from Graham Coxon, this is a twinkly little acoustic number. Now the video: With the cute little dancing milk carton! Easily my favourite Blur video, its the tale of a milk carton going to look for Graham Coxon, who has gone missing! Gasp at his shenannigans above! :o
