The OCC has done an interesting Article about Queen, in the UK Charts. It mentions some Sales, as well as

some other Acts:

https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/5...t-queen__30231/

Regarding The OCC's Friday July 17th Article, about 50 Queen Chart Facts:

The Article gives Queen's 'Greatest Hits' 6,370,000 UK Sales. However, in 2006, The OCC allowed 626,000 Sales, to

be added to it from 2 other Queen releases. (560,000 - 'The Platinum Collection' - 2000, 66,000 - 'Greatest Hits I

& II - 1994). If you remove, those 'Enhanced Sales', it has really sold around 5,744,000. It would still be the UK's

Best Selling Album. However, 'ABBA Gold' is 2nd, with an estimated 5,726,000 UK Sales. There are really only about

18,000 UK Sales, between them. (To W/E 23rd July 2020). The OCC never mention, that 626,000 UK Sales, of the

1981 Queen 'Greatest Hits' Album, are from 2 other Queen releases...

Note -- For 'ABBA Gold', I'm using the estimated 5,721,000 Sales from this Thread - Sunday July 5th. Then, I've

added in a combined Total of 5,000 UK Sales, for these Weeks - W/E 16th July and W/E 23rd July.

The OCC say that, Queen's 'Greatest Hits II', has sold 4,070,000, in the UK. That makes it the UK's 10th Best Selling Album.

If you remove its 'Enhanced Sales', then that 1991 Album has 3,440,000 UK Sales. Which makes it fall to 16th place, in the

List of the UK's Top 60 Best Selling Albums...

The fact, that 'Greatest Hits I' and 'Greatest Hits II', were given 626,000 'Enhanced Sales', (each), in 2006, was confirmed by

Alan Jones, in 'Music Week', in September 2009. ('Greatest Hits III' - 1999, was also given 560,000 Sales from 'The Platinum

Collection')...

The only way, at the moment, is to look at the URL and change the number at the end to try and home in on the one you want. It should be easier with the new site.
