Honestly Royksopp delivered probably the most amazing show I have ever seen when I saw them in 2017. Still in awe after that.

This next round is a really tough one as Röyksopp tend to put little ambient tracks at the end of their albums. I've had a look through and I think these are the options I've got... any help as to which is the least bad option will be welcome!!! :lol:

 

 

 

 

I'm thinking I've got to go with Something In My Heart by default. Although I do like the little piano effort in the second video and Inside The Idle Hour Club, neither seem suited for this.

So almost every track they do is a collaboration so this should be easy... but I feel like that's not sticking to the spirit of the round so I'm thinking of potentially sending a remix of a collaboration! I'm saving Do It Again for another round as there's one round coming up that really ought to be easy for everyone but Do It Again is by far my favourite option for it.

i'm liking that What Else Is There remix! afaik it's one of their bigger songs and maybe the voters will appreciate the dancier spin idk. Monument is good too ofc, can't go wrong with picking a Robyn track

Thanks 7! That’s where I was leaning towards too as I wanted to try and send a different range of collaborators - I think there’s a risk that Karin’s vocal style won’t be for everyone but hopefully there’ll be some people who like her ^_^

'Never Ever' is my absolute fave of theirs, that might be a good one to start off with unless you want to go with a Robyn collab.

 

Thinking of going with Never Ever this round as Free Choice is the only category it will fit in ^_^

Continuing the trend of showcasing a different vocalist in the contest, Susanne Sundfør steps up to join Röyksopp for round four of the contest. Susanne is one of my favourite pop acts of recent years - if you haven't already heard it, please do check out her album Ten Love Songs for an example of just how fabulous she is. :wub:

 

This probably demonstrates the band at the poppier end of their material but it's up against some real heavyweights in this round so we'll have to see how it can fare. I'm just hoping that you love the track as much as I do ^_^
