Yeah Hallucinate's never been on ACR as it's under 3 years old and hasn't charted before

Physical's total (post-ACR) was more than Hallucinate's, making it Dua's third biggest seller of the week and Hallucinate her fourth, but her label have asked for Hallucinate to count instead.

 My predictions are much less accurate than this most of the time unfortunately. x

Like I said I was just using DigDat's album as a comparison point as I remembered the album tracks from that having fairly similar positions on Spotify and Apple Music! (And of course both albums did/will have more or less negligible pure sales so it's really only streaming numbers that need to be compared).

Ahh I see, you used a bit of past research and common sense.

I knew I was lacking something :P

Sadly, "trendy" meme songs do better than actual songs

It's rather disturbing to claim something isn't valid just because you don't like it/the fact that it hinders your personal favourites.

I thought Kygo/ Tina would be higher.

Yikes for Anne Marie & Doja Cat.

Rain On Me still top 5. Yes.

Oh lord not that meme song called Party Girl outselling Kings & Queens :(

Since when is it a meme song...?

Why is MNEK credited with vocals, when Joel Corry didn’t bother crediting the vocalists on his last two songs?

it's just another song that happened thanks to TikTok

Are you able to tell whether Rain On Me is up on streams so far this week please?

down - and by a substantial amount too. very little chance it’ll avoid acr.

And? All songs gain popularity from somewhere, whether that’s Radio 1 for a pop song, TikTok for a rap song, or Pitchfork for an alternative track. Doesn’t mean any song and it’s popularity has less value as a result of it.

this is reminding way too much of the situation where you just join a new school and people pick on you just because you're the new kid. Tiktok is that new kid and we are a high school :') (more like elementary sometimes though x)

did I say it had less value? I was just replying to someone who was asking what it was

does anyone know what the actual rule is which allows Warner ask for Physical to be starred out to allow Hallucinate to debut?

ii) A UK rights owner/licensee may elect to exclude the third bestselling single by an artist and replace it with their fourth bestselling track if the third bestselling track is outside of the Top 20 chart positions. Tracks excluded in this way cannot become chart eligible again for a period of six months.

I’m not quite sure what the point is. If it’s not a top 40 position not many people will take note of it and it only means that Hallucinate is now likely to hit ACR faster. It’s still climbing and likely would’ve overtook Physical in a couple weeks anyway
It's only 13 spots below where "Physical" was on the last update chart, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up ahead this week even.

It doesn’t sound like a song in my opinion
