so with this album being nearly 2 months old now, what's everyone's thoughts?

I'm pretty confident that this is my favourite Taylor album now and easily makes up my holy trinity of folklore-reputation-speak now

My album ranking nowadays is probs like this:

Untouchable top 2:

1. epiphany

2. cardigan

I honestly think cardigan could overtake soon :o it's so damn perfect

perfection:

3. the last great american dynasty

4. my tears ricochet

5. exile (ft. Bon Iver)

6. seven

7. august

8. mirrorball

9. betty

a good music video + a push soon and exile can def move up to 3rd, it's v. close there. august has been hitting me so hard over the last week or two <3 and Betty def gets a boost from its live performance <3

perfection pt. 2:

10. the 1

(oops at this having a category of its own rn, august has outgrown this now and Betty would've been here until tonight oops!)

I stan so much but ngl my top 10 is dead set:

11. this is me trying

12. mad woman

these 2 are v. interchangeable depending on my mood

I love but the others are better:

13. the lakes

14. invisible string

15. illicit affairs

I've kind of cooled on the lakes over the last couple weeks after thinking it'd crack my top 10 after the first week of its release!! oops

I love but they're the ones I go back to least by far:

16. hoax

17. peace

HDD released the top 50 albums of the year so far and folklore is already in 6th place :cheer: it's sold 1,404,000 and I think it could have a chance of top 3 with another couple boosts

880k pure sales, highest of the year obvs and hope it passes 1mil soon!!

in other Taylor albums news, Lover is 28th in YTD (670,000) & has spent over a year in the top 50 (ahead of rep and equaling red) and 1989 has now spent 300 weeks on the hot 200 :cheeseblock:

Are you going to be able to get one?

nope  and they released some international ones earlier today on the store and I missed it, they sold out in like 5 mins so they were all gone by the time I'd found out

also #6 this week in the UK!

chart-run: 01-01-01-02-03-08-05-06 (8wks)

previous albums weeks top 10/top 40:

Selftitled - 0 weeks top 40

Fearless - 1wk top 10 / 12wks top 20 / 17wks top 40

Speak Now - 1wk top 10 / 3wks top 40

Red - 4wks top 10 / 18wks top 20 / 44wks top 40

1989 - 15wks top 5 / 43wks top 10 / 61wks top 20 / 88wks top 40

reputation - 5wks top 10 / 20wks top 20 / 34wks top 40

Lover - 6wks top 10 / 12wks top 20 / 41wks top 40

top 5 - 9wks off 1989 atm, beat everything else

top 10 - it's beaten everything but 1989, probs not gonna get near

top 20 - so far beat self titled & SN

so next up is Fearless/Lover 12wks in the top 20

nope  and they released some international ones earlier today on the store and I missed it, they sold out in like 5 mins so they were all gone by the time I'd found out

I heard about that. It's unfortunate. :(

This is quite tricky but here goes:

Perfection:

Last great American dynasty

Exile

Cardigan

Epiphany

Good:

Invisible string

Betty

The lakes

My tears really ricochet

This is me trying

Illicit affairs

The 1

Good but not quite as good:

mirrorball

August

Mad women

Seven

Peace

Hoax

Let me try that

Perfection:

Exile

Betty

August

Close to perfection:

The Lakes

My Tears Ricochet

Great:

The 1

Illicit Affairs

Mirrorball

Good:

Seven

Peace

This Is Me Trying

Cardigan

Mad Woman

The Last Great American Dynasty

Meh:

Invisible String

Epiphany

Ew:

Hoax

the leaked line-up seems to be untrue (it was a Portuguese commercial during the Emmy's last night), it seems to be a playlist with those artists on promoting the billboard music awards rather than the artists performing! :( Esp Ed Sheeran makes no sense as he has nothing out atm.

Tho I do think she'll perform whatever tho, hopefully we'll get a proper announcement soon!
