It really annoys me that those sales she got on Thursday are essentially wasted. Grrrr.

Ya I always think thursday sales are just wasted when songs are released that I never understand the logic especially for artists who struggle on the singles chart. Little mix who have far greater selling power had the sense to hold back until friday.

I don't in any small fraction see the benefit to Say Something.

Maybe they wanted the attention to them selves which to be fair they got but let's be honest although LM and Taylor are huge sellers they have hardly had media attention in UK. Kylie could have competed easily.

It started at #16 the week it reached the Top 40 but you're correct about the latter!

 

Looking back, I remember it being a shock it remained Top 40 as it slipped 16-28-35-36 during the week.
