It's more likely to be a Jamiroquai remix rather than a feature — same with Róisín Murphy (who isn't on the rumoured tracklist but is on the photo of clues).

Still surprising that they're involved at all haha

Can’t see an Ed Sheeran collab but the white horse has ginger hair.

Described as a stellar collection of brand new remixes and features from an incredible roll call of superstars, underground heroes and some of the world's finest dance music talent and has been curated and also mixed into a continuous mixtape format by The Blessed Madonna. The result is an eclectic and euphoric mix of the past and present, it's a celebration of musical worlds coming together, with 90's house blending seamlessly with 2020's finest pop and remixers, a splash of 80's soul and a few noughties musical gems added to the blend.

Dua teased the following:

"The last few months have been surreal. I've watched you all dance in your homes and on your Zoom parties to Future Nostalgia like you were in the club with me. It brought so much joy to my days spent at home, even though I would've much rather been playing these songs live for you all on the road. During this time, I decided to take the party up a notch with the incomparable The Blessed Madonna, who secretly helped me to craft the mixtape that would become Club Future Nostalgia. We invited some friends and legends to join in on the fun with us. Absolute queens Missy Elliott and Madonna joined me for an epic remix of "Levitating," and my dream girl Gwen Stefani and the supreme Mark Ronson teamed up to take "Physical" to the next level. And the party doesn't stop there – there are so many more surprises to come!"

The Blessed Madonna added this:

"Taking Future Nostalgia and reimagining it as a mixtape album was an enormous project, which had to be done in absolute secrecy, alone in my attic. In a way building this fantasy out of this beautiful record Dua had already given us was the perfect task for the pandemic. It was a massive and infinitely detailed task. Creating remixes and originals, curating the dream team of additional remixers and weaving the features into a new album was both daunting and thrilling, to say the least. My admiration for Dua only deepened. She is brilliant, once in a generation artist and a sweetheart. Being able to make this love letter with such a legendary cast of characters is beyond comprehension. In the end my goal was to build a new world: Club Future Nostalgia, the dance floor we all so desperately need but can't quite reach. I love this project so much and I hope you love it too."
wish they reveal the tracklist and up a pre-order soon

Another day, another fake tracklist. I think I've seen three so far. :deadbanana:

Anyway, re-reading the press release, I don't think all the songs are going to have features and I assume that there's a possibility that there could be samples in a couple of tracks instead. Also, some of the artists who are hinted through that promotional picture might appear because of the aforementioned and not necessarily because they recorded something. However, if someone told me that Dua Lipa was going to work with Gwen Stefani, Madonna and Missy Elliot in a remix album of her sophomore album some time ago, I would have laughed on them, so anything could happen at this point to be honest.

Dua revealed that the remix album has been pushed back a week because there are going to be animations for every song on the record during her interview to Gwen Stefani on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Apart from JLO in the early 2000s... do remix albums even do much? Even Gaga when everyone was Gaga-mad didn't manage a super high peak with her Remix album...

It think it depends if it is combined with the original, which it still doing very well.

I’m thinking it’s being treated as it’s own seperate album so it’ll chart separately.

I guess this won’t be confirmed until it’s actually out though.

I love this idea but I feel it’s coming a bit too soon, no? Hallucinate needs a few more weeks to peak realistically and surely releasing this closer to Christmas and away from other big releases is a good idea. Or even having a remix single out October/November then the remix album out early next year

It was top 3 and is one of the best selling remix albums of all time! :o

But even with that, I get your point that it hardly made a splash in the grand scheme of things and I'd be hard pressed to find even the biggest of Gaga fans that listen to the remix album regularly (if at all ever). I think we as fans of the original album will always prefer the original songs as opposed to remixes.

If this was an album where each song had additional verses tacked onto the songs (like Katy adding them to a few songs in the Teenage Dream era) I think more of us would be here for it, but as a remix album I can't see people loving it as much as the original.

I'll reserve judgement until it's out and I am still so excited for what is to come, but I think I (and others) were perhaps too prematurely excited for a complete new mini era when in fact it'll probably be an album of remixes we hear once and then return to the original. Hope to be proved wrong of course!

Tracklist is out!

Love is religion YASSSSS. The leak is fabulous and is better than most of the original album for me so I really hope the blessed Madonna hasn’t screwed it up ahh

Gutted no if it ain’t me 😭
