"Defeated" is the third and final single from fourth studio album, Heavy Rotation. The single was released in May 2009 as a promotional single only, without a music video or physical single release. No surprise that all the singles from her last album are leaving first since it really bombed in every aspects of commercial success. It still managed to receive one 10!!!

"I Can Feel You" is a lead single from her fourth studio album, Heavy Rotation. The song received mixed to negative reviews. Allmusic editor Jon O'Brien didn't like the single release of the song: "Lead single "I Can Feel You" misleadingly suggests that this doesn't seem like a particularly wise decision. Written by man of the moment Ne-Yo, its promising opening funky beats and squelchy synths are let down by such a non-event of a chorus that it's hard to believe it's penned by the same man behind Rihanna's recent infectious chart hits. A prime example of using a star name just for the sake of it, it's arguably the most underwhelming comeback song of the year." Ouch!!! :kink:

It was received with mixed to negative reviews with one of them stating and called this song "a simple, anthem-ic, country-flavoured soft rock tune that doesn't work with Anastacia's voice." :kink:.
It charted at #28 in United Kingdom and mostly it flopped everywhere it was released, with exception Belgium where it peaked inside Top 5 (stan Belgium!!).

The song was compared to Destiny's Child-sounding and saw a minor success across Europe, again with exception of Belgium (peaked inside Top 10).

The single was released as the album's lead single in Europe on November 11, 2005. The single reached the top ten in Italy and the Netherlands, and the top twenty in Germany and Switzerland. It also peaked at number one in Spain three years after its original release. In UK it only managed to chart at #48.

Reviews were positive, Allmusic stating that "When Anastacia slows down the tempo for the ballads (some organic and acoustic, some bordering on power ballads), she succeeds by utilizing her strong vocal chops without venturing into vocal histrionics". NME wrote that the song "drips like Celine Dion dipped in honey".
