no idea who is going to win

18 out of 50. Not bad.. Looking forward to this lot
Shocked Busted weren't Top 50 :o although I'm happy McFly have finished higher than them! I wonder if anyone bothered to vote for McBusted?

We're losing another 30 pointer tomorrow and I can confirm there are some REAL surprises in the top 50 along with some classic "Only on Buzzjack" moments!
I'm trying to come up with a list of the remaining 50 and I can only come up with about 25 (including the 16 I've got left)... I'm sure there's gonna be some very random ones in there as well as some completely obvious ones that I've missed!

BIGGEST UK HIT: THE SAINTS ARE COMING (#1, 2006)

Good to see both Green Day and the Manics in the top 50! I think I overlooked The Wanted, I quite enjoyed a lot of their stuff but they wouldn't have made my Top 30.
Love The Wanted. Definitely my favourite ever boy band, didn't expect to see them top 50 though. So nice surprise. Thought I'd maybe be the only one to vote for them.

The Wanted are that high!!!

Was not expecting that, that is a shocker.

Tomorrow we'll lose not one, not two, but THREE 30 pointers (although one act picked up two maximum points!)
i can’t believe that Busted and The Wanted are above the Rolling Stones, Bee Gees, Aerosmith, Duran Duran and Roxette etc...

Edited by Dark Horse

the Manics are one the best UK bands ever, well deserved top 50

never really into Green Day except a couple songs

no comment on The Wanted :D

Good chance I'm one of them, don't see them reaching triple figures and wouldn't surprise me if there's another voter who's put them as a 30, so could be either!

Favourite Green Day songs: Jesus Of Suburbia, Basket Case, Wake Me Up When September Ends.

Glad to see the Manics here - it was only after voting I remembered I have 4 of their albums, so they can be my honorary #31 (though I gradually lost interest after 2000) - my faves are Motorcycle Emptiness and Faster from the Richey days, and A Design for Life after.

I've done the same and I can think of 36 out of the remaining 47 groups (including the 9 I have left).

My Green Day holy trinity: Basket Case, Good Riddance, Holiday.

My Manics holy trinity: Motorcycle Emptiness, Little Baby Nothing, A Design For Life... although I could quite easily extend that to a whole top 10.

I always wonder what Kylie would have sounded like on Little Baby Nothing instead of Traci Lords, like the plan was supposed to be.

We're definitely gonna be kicking ourselves at some of them.
