This is my number 1 Little Mix song. Wish they'd do a lovely little cassette or something

Honestly, this is miles better than Positions and Billie’s new song.

Playlisting clearly matters - surely their team should know that by now. Or maybe they do but aren’t willing to fork out and invest in the girls. Disappointing either way.

I’m hoping we get good Apple playlist support again!

Would be amazing for them to get #1 on Today’s hits and A List pop.

Doubt they’ll get Hot Songs home page but fingers crossed the NTFT does.

No time for tears has front page of hot songs on Apple I think.

Wow, hopefully :cheer:

Great but I’d rather SM again..

Next week it could really make progress to grab 2..

They really and didn't discount again lol
Gah. I really hope the NOW 107 one doesn't mean people will cherry pick off of that one and take away sales from the one at #1, costing them more important exposure!

Everyone keeps banging on about this discount but don't labels usually save that for the week before ACR these days?

No. iTunes sales don't even effect ACR. That's streams only. Not that it matters that much but it would have probably gotten them a cheeky new peak of 2.

(Actually seems like Apple and iTunes haven't updated their banners etc yet)

There’s a NOW 107 TV ad that shows a clip of Positions and Sweet Melody!

Okay then, the week it hits ACR to help it get extra sales in the weeks in drops? I just feel like any business would be silly to throw away money of a hot song, I'd understand the discount if it was struggling a bit, but right now it's still holding strong. But I get it would be definitely help them get a higher peak which should help out sales in the long run, especially if it went #1. I just don't see RCA being that interested.

Most labels discount at optimal times to try and get the best peak possible these days, in fact all but RCA it seems! Most money comes from album and streams so it's odd that RCA don't often seem to be as in tune with other labels common tactics. Anyway, I feel like I've/we've said enough now about discount  at least I know Atlantic will do it at the right time with No Time for Tears.

Back to #2 on AM :cheer:

Yeh now I think about it, -40p per sale on iTunes really isn't going to bankrupt them is it, what's that these days? Probably like a loss of a couple of hundred quid, if that.

I dunno I guess I was trying to figure out why they hadn't done it. :P

And as you say, at least it's holding well on streaming! :cheer:

This is 9 on YouTube's daily chart whereas Billie is down to 13.. surly there's a chance of #2 this week? Even with the NOW version out which will give it some extra sales
