Chris Martin plays Dylan

E4 News 28/11/2006

Chris Martin surprised Lily Allen fans last night by putting in a guest appearance before Allen was due on stage at London's Union Chapel, and singing a new Coldplay number.

The singer, who was using the pseudonym Tight White Tights, performed two Bob Dylan covers, as well as The Killers' hit 'When You Were Young' at Mencap's Little Voice Sessions, before debuting a new Coldplay song, 'Bucket For A Crown'.

"If it's sh*t, we'll give this song to The Killers and if it's good we'll keep it," said Martin of the new song.

Meanwhile, 'All Good Things', a song which Martin wrote for Nelly Furtado, is released this week.
