Posted November 28, 200618 yr The year of the most #1 singles ever up (42) up next! :o There was a Dance and Pop explosion in 2000, as shown by #1's from Steps, S Club 7, Britney Spears, Westlife, Bob The Builer and A1 on the Pop side and Spiller, Sonique, Fragma and Modjo on the Dance side. The biggest music story of the year was the memorable Spiller (and Sophie Ellis Bextor) vs Victoria Beckham (and Dane Bowers) battle for the top spot in the Summer. Sanity prevailed and Spiller and La Bextor won out in the end! Both tunes (Groovejet and Out Of Your Mind) sold 200k copies+ in one week! :o Also, I must mention the triumphant return of everybody's favourite Pop Princess, Kylie, and her lovely hotpants! :lol: So, whats your favourite #1 of the year, and why?

November 29, 200618 yr Once again a strong bunch of no 1s but none of 'em was clearly above the others and pretty much any of the songs in my top ten could have been no 1 depending on which mood I am in.
