Toca's Miracle...Toca Me was a boring track and Coco's I Need a Miracle sounded awful bu the two together was an absolute piece of genius and surely the turning point in the commercial life of the mash up!!!

Out of that lot, there's about 10 songs I'm really into... so rather than choose one of them above the rest, I've picked one at random. And the winner is... RISE by GABRIELLE! Yay! Shame her last album flopped, I don't think she'll be back anytime soon. Special mention to Bob The Construction Worker though, for keeping Louis's stool monkeys off the Christmas No 1 slot. Is that why he's got 2 votes? It can't be because of the song...

Lots of great number 1's and lots of cr*ps...

I voted for Chicane and Bryan Adams...

Never Be The Same Again

but also love:

Destiny's Child

Geri Halliwell

All Saints - Pure Shores no contest

beaten by Bob The Builder  in the year to date charts for 2000, I want revenge

I voted for the All Saints "Black Coffee". "Pure Shores" is good, but "Black Coffee" is simply brilliant.

There is a reason why "What Makes A Man" is not in the above list. ;)

The best year ever! Fragma for me, followed by Born To Make You Happy and Chicane

Some brilliant songs from this year (probably the year I started getting into music), but I went for Britney Spears - Oops I Did It Again
Just the fact that the voting varies so much proves it - 2000 was the most diverse, incredible year for the UK charts. SO many classics!

Spice Girls - Holler/ Love Lead The Way

I love holler!! Such a great song and video!!

woah, i did not realise how many amazing tracks came out in 2000, i voted "groovejet", hard choice though, did love "black coffee" more than "pure shores"...
