I quite liked 'Die of a Broken Heart' but I think this might actually be the worst thing he's ever done (and he's had a few shockers in the past!)

I'm of the opinion that writing and producing this album with just one team (Jessica Agombar - who was in Parade! - and David Stewart) has done that. Most of his biggest and best singles in the past have come from working with Claude Kelly, Steve Robson, Ed Drewett etc. The lack of their input shows in the fact both singles so far are, in my opinion, way below the usual standard he has delivered.

And when you're trying to sell albums off the back of two singles that haven't been well received, and you've not had a top 40 hit, let alone top 10 in about five years, then it's a problem. I dare say it probably will still be top 5, top 10 at least, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is the only album he does on EMI.

The beginning of this album was a hot, overproduced mess. However, a few songs after and including 25 were very good.

Both the singles are probably the worst on the album, but I’m team ‘…when you’re drunk’ for sure.

This album is so bizarre and Olly posted snippet of a song with "Bruno Mars or Olly?" which tells you the exact vibe he was going for with this album.

Did EMI not give him budget to film one proper music video?

Nice. I did listen to it this morning and it sound brilliant.
There's a couple of fillers for sure but on the whole I'm really liking the album. Some nicely crafted pop songs on there. Hoping he gets a #1 with it.
EMI are embarrassing, just wanting a quick money maker. Feel for Olly as it's such a good album.
I've listened to the whole album now and it's like he's trying to be the cheeky chappy but the lyrics and melodies don't have much oomph or energy so they blend into one. It's not a bad album but there isn't much that grabs me as a non-Olly fan. The only song with any personality whatsoever is "I Hate You When You're Drunk" but those "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA" sound childish and are beyond ridiculous.

I’m not usually a fan of Olly but this is a pretty decent effort from him actually
I'd say olly, taylor and Sam ryder will be the top 3 battle and I wouldn't be shocked if taylor swift takes number 1.Olly will need at around 25k to hold off Taylor.
25 is excellent! Reminds me of JTs Say Sonething at points for some reason. Go Ghost is good although not sure how much replay value it will have.

I think Olly can beat Taylor because her sales are decreasing each week and Sam's album isn't released until next week.

I hope the midweek information brings good news for Olly later today.

Olly posted he is #1 on the first update but his Spotify streaming numbers are shocking (he didn’t say that part).
