Posted October 19, 20204 yr Sorry, I felt like we all needed this  In 2017 The Vamps album 'Night & Day' fell to number 35 week after debuting at number one setting unwanted album chart record. As their new album should rather comfortably enter the chart at number one on friday based on midweeks, the question is: WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT WEEK?
October 20, 20204 yr I could honestly see them going 1-63 or even further. With a packed release schedule next week it will get pushed down even further than it otherwise would. I’d be very surprised if they manage more than about 2k next week, assuming they finish this week on about 14k and have an 85% drop off, which would probably place them in the mid-50s, but I’m not sure they’ll even manage that.
October 21, 20204 yr Im going with no and predicting number 33 next week. With their current sales trend i have certainly predicted this wrong, i think i will change that to nearly top 75 now
October 25, 20204 yr Author Alright, I think we can now sum up BuzzJack predictions: - 86% of people think the album will have bigger drop than 1-35 - No one believes the album will stay top 20 for a second week - More than half of people believe the album will be out of top 50 in week 2 - Interestingly the number of people who think the album will reamain in top 40 is nearly the same as the number of people who think it will go 1-OUT (7 votes vs 6 votes) - 50% of people think the album will land in the 41-60 region with the most popular option being 41-50 which got over quarter of total votes
October 26, 20204 yr I think it’ll stay top 30! Maybes somewhere between 25 and 30. Well I was very wrong here!
October 26, 20204 yr Maybe there should also have been an 'out of the Top 200' option in the poll :kink:
October 26, 20204 yr 2 sneaky hoes voting for 'out of the Top 100' now :') Edited October 26, 20204 yr by ɥɔʇᴉʍ
October 26, 20204 yr I feel bad for them! I've not heard the album yet, but the 3 tracks I have heard are all really good. It's a pity that they've become an act that really struggles outside of loyal first week buyers.
