That return doesn’t excite me too much unless the character has grown during their time away. They were always a tad too judgemental of everyone.

I have to say the same about the returnee, im not hugely excited for the character directly but might from a family perspective.
I think it at least twice a day but they never should have killed Abi off.

There’s quite a few characters Eastenders shouldn’t have killed off tbh . Abi, Ronnie/Roxy , Mel , Pat come to mind but there’s probably more .

Controversially, I disagree with some of those. Pat had a good send off and would only have lead to diminishing returns. It was possibly too soon but it was well executed. Mel is a character I love but with Tamzin leaving and very unlikely to come back, it made sense for her to go out with a bang and die. Roxy I feel was a massive mistake and possibly Ronnie though she she was pretty much done as a character. Roxy had loads to explore.

Biggest mistakes in the last decade for me are Abi, Roxy, Steven and, it seems, Denny.

I’m not sure if I never knew the boat trip was supposed to have been on Valentine’s Day or that I just forgot. It feels like tonight was a week ahead of itself.

Did serve to remind me that I was in the Lake District for the anniversary week last year and half term is upon me again and I can’t do anything that fun.

NOT Kat trying to upstage Abi in the sexy mechanic stakes!

Do you know what, I’m all for Phil and Kat if it closes the door on Phil and Sharon. Sharon needs a fresh character as a love interest not old ground.

And Omg they have cast

Sonia’s dad!

The story hasn’t been forgotten!

They did not just give Jean significant screen time and then not advance her story at all. Not even a hint of it.

New Peter is awful.

I love seeing Iqra in a proper storyline but why do I feel like it’s just leading to an exit?

Can we just have all the Masoods back please? Iqra can stay too then. There's no way they're keeping her locked up in that massive house on her own for much longer

Also we're getting a new character imminently called Zack Hudson played by James Farrar. Not much is known about him other than he's a "lone wolf" which means he's going to be someone's long lost relative :kink:

Long lost son of Dennis Rickman, I’m saying. Watch Sharon fall for him or at least obsess over him.

I don’t know where this duo of Sharon and Jean came from but I’m living for it.

A bit dopey of Max to hand that memory stick to Phil before anything has been signed or anything.

‘Now if you don’t mind, I’ve got chocolate to eat’ is how I’m going to exit every room for at least the rest of 2021.

I've noticed the Queen Vic is a bit understaffed. Sharon and Tracey seem to be the only ones working behind the bar.

It really makes no sense how it's been run with just Sharon and Tracey and why Sharon doesn't just give Mick a job behind the bar.

I agree, it’s been years since we had lots of regulars working behind the bar. With the Carters they had a big family so they didn’t need to employ anyone bar Tracey but it’s odd Sharon hasn’t hired anyone else. Mick, Kat, Stacey and Whitney all have experience behind the bar and I can’t really see any of them turning away the work if it was offered.

Abi Jnr stealing the show tonight. I’m so glad she gets to stay with Rainie.

Surely we’re not really looking at the Carter’s back in the Vic? I don’t think I can be bothered with that.
