I've been wondering for a while when they'd try this - the Euros seems like a good opportunity with it usually getting shafted into all sorts of slots.

It seems like a good idea in terms of the Euros as it’s always shafted all over the schedule. I guess it could become a permanent thing which would affect the ratings but I’m more than happy to go with the flow.
Am I imagining the past or has Mo married Fat Elvis before?

They most definitely got engaged, I think it was the one time he actually appeared on screen if I recall it correctly but they never took that story any further.

EE is so bad right now I still can’t believe they had Linda cheat on Mick. It’s ruined her character and ruined her going forward
Ya I hated Linda cheating and it wasnt in line with her character at all, they had so many other options but this was a lazy one as they didnt know what to do with Max, i am glad for now though that Linda and Mick didnt split although I dread what stupid maternity exit they will give Linda, initially I expected Mick and Linda would cover up the pregnancy, linda will head off somewhere and give birth and possibly make contact with Rainie and give her the baby.
They always write Linda in a bad light to propel Mick. This is nothing new.

Are they trying it to excuse the awful ratings, or is this one last-firch attempt to stop it getting axed?

No EE on the 11th of this month, expect a double episode in the week, expect more to follow while the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament is on.
I still think getting rid of Mo was pointless.
Are we supposed to be cheering on Callum and Ben’s abusive relationship?

Callum and Ben get far too much screen time.

Vi and Rainie tensions are enjoyable.

Vi is irritating, I don’t even find her funny.

They should have given this Fitzy more than two episodes of screen time if they wanted us to care.

Not impressed with the not so subtle political dig at teachers either.

Lmao this.

Watch this "horrific stabbing" be used to bring Ben and Callum closer. Predictable writing as always.

Ross Boatman has been cast as Harvey Monroe, who is Dana's father (who Bobby is currently dating). Glad they're exploring Bobby's (recent) past really and how his conviction is affecting him in different areas of his life.

For those that don't want to watch all the eps at once, there's been an understandable shuffle in the schedule.

Be prepared for a very Carter / Ruby & Martin heavy week

15/06 - 7:35pm & 7:55pm

16/06 - 8:10pm & 8:35pm

21/06 - 7pm

24/06 - 7:40pm and 8:05pm

25/06 - 7:45pm
