Gallagher's band OASIS and Albarn's BLUR battled to top the UK singles chart in 1995, and became involved in a heated war of words. Gallagher's fiancee, ALL SAINTS singer NICOLE APPLETON, admits their five-year-old son loves the Gorillaz, much to the chagrin of his father. She says, "Gene loves Oasis, but he really loves the Gorillaz. "Liam bumped into Damon in the street and told him, 'My kid is a big fan of yours.' "I love the Gorillaz too so I think Gene has good taste." Haha... a rather cruel twist of fate there :lol: But does that mean Albarn and Gallagher have patched up their differences and are now mates?!
