Highest new entry is from Swedish duo Tape Machines at 5 with Arms of Gold, keeping up the theme with Paloma at 3 on Gold, and Harry Styles climbing into the 40 with Golden. Kylie's fab new album is out, and last week's 2 top 10's get booted out, but fear not Last Chance enters at 6 from Disco! Celebrate You climbs 69 places to 9, and Supernova is new at 44 for a total of 6 tracks on the chart. So far. Jake Bugg rockets up to 19 with All I Need, his biggest track since Lightning Bolt & Seen It All in 2013, his 3rd top 20, and Temples return 4 years on from Certainty going top 20, in at 25 with Paraphernalia. Yvonne Elliman's 1979 disco classic finally goes top 30, as Love Pains gives her a 6th, 44 years since she first topped my chart with Love Me. Steps and Tame Impala get big climbs again, both having a good 2020, Foster The People and Celeste increase their chart entries with newies, a charity Oasis cover gives Kylie a 7th appearance among a cast of many, including Paloma Faith's 4th appearance in the chart, and Cher's 2nd Children In Need contribution after her 90's UK chart-topper Love Can Build A Bridge, with Chrissie Hynde, who brings her 90's classic I'll Stand By You for some extra chart sales, along with a host of oldies down the bottom end thanks to selling well on itunes, or due to more sad passing's - this week Len Barry and Des O'Connor. Falling Down 😂😂 Celebrate you is nice, but of the tracks I've picked from the album to chart, it's my least favourite. Ooft Last Night On Earth has super grown on me. I really am so impressed with this album. Save Your Tears is a lovely track. It entered rotation for me today but I expect it till be top 10 next week perhaps. Something In Your Eyes is so bloody fantastic. I am hyped for STEPS album. It's shaping up to be one of their best imo. Fantastic chart!

It would have had some 80's and 90's love from the diva covers of Love Pains, so I wasn't too surprised it qualified as a former big ol Gay-Club-appealing tune, but so fab to see so much love for Yvonne Elliman, I've loved her since I saw Jesus Christ Superstar (the film) in 1973 at the cinema! I also was hoping to see Baccara in the top 40 that wouldve been a huge laugh and pure nostalgia for me, like Dreams both were big first-year College Uni anthems when I was a student in Lincoln. Yes Sir I Can Boogie topped my charts, not that I told many people about that, my Abba obsession had already made me one of the girls :lol: Macca was in itunes this week, though it's had enough chart "sales" from me to hang around, I never got the hate for it, the frog cartoon was sweet. :lol: Thanks for the long list as always B-)
