Wake Me up is complete garbage though. 6Cp6mKbRTQY What I said This Year I Stand by my comments on Wake Me Up. Absolute trash.
November 20, 20204 yr Author #09 | The Saturdays | What Are You Waiting For? 1123 points | [01-01-01-01-04-05-04-05-08-11-12-15-15-29-30-35-40-30] 18 weeks STILL CHARTING JSG PEAK #01 | OCC PEAK #38 • What I Said In 2014 I don't Care what anyone says but this is truly Amazing despite it being their lowest peaking single to date. ahdmNS9Nkm0 What I Said This Year I honestly think this is my fave Saturdays single they'd ever released. I know. Shocking.
November 20, 20204 yr Author #08 | Cheryl & Tinie Tempah | Crazy Stupid Love 1138 points | [06-03-02-05-03-05-03-03-06-08-10-11-20-31-29-34-45-42-54-49-68-72] 22 weeks JSG PEAK #02 | OCC PEAK #01 • What I Said in 2014 Poor Cheryl never reached the dizzying heights of #1 on my chart this year but then that's what happens when the music is nowhere near as good as what she has released prior. Her previous two albums were really amazing! H8tS5UQmNQM What I Said This Year I honestly love this song so much and feel like it's up there with her best. I remember it got a lot of flack on Buzzjack at release but it was very undeserved imo. I do wish she'd try and replicate the success of her first two albums though. They were as I said 6 years ago, amazing.
November 20, 20204 yr Author #07 | Ella Henderson | Ghost 1117 points | [02-02-02-04-02-05-04-12-12-17-19-26-30-22-23-28-33-40-45-36-41-54-64-74-75-75-70-70] 27 weeks JSG PEAK #02 | OCC PEAK #01 • What I Said In 2014 What an Amazing track from Ella. Always knew she was gonna do Amazingly. Although it's never the winners of xfactor that so the best though is it? Sadly she never reached #1 on my chart but that's didn't stop her from having one of the biggest tracks of the year for me at all.[/ tA8AfQaUnXM What I Said This Year This was a fantastic debut if you don't count the winners single (Or was this the winners single?) I don't remember because I'm old and my memory is terrible. I honestly thought Ella's career was gonna be massive but god knows what the f*** happened.
November 20, 20204 yr Author #06 | Moya | Earthbound 1161 points | [51-20-10-07-02-01-02-04-06-02-02-01-01-03-05-02-05-08] 18 weeks JSG PEAK #01 | OCC PEAK DNC • What I Said In 2014 This was the first track I'd heard from MOYA and what a gorgeous track it is. She hasn't released anything since then which was 6 months ago but she's working on a new album right now and I for one am excited! BTW, this is my last bjsc entry on the Eoy and it ended up last sadly. HOW THE HELL! XKBp7a5Hs04 What I said This Year Now I am still a fan of this and I do listen to it occasionally, now that I'm removed from how amazing I thought it was on release year, I'm realising that although it's nice, it's kinda boring 😂
November 20, 20204 yr Author #05 | Icona Pop | All Night 1352 points | 2014 RUN ONLY [08-11-06-09-07-13-13-31-12-11-12-20-19-10-21-24-17-27-23-29-29-29-37-27-46-49-55-45-56-75] 30 weeks STILL CHARTING /RECHARTING JSG PEAK [2014] #06 | OCC PEAK #31 • What I Said In 2014 This was my favourite track for the majority of the year only to be overtaken twice by Paloma Faith & Taylor Swift. Altogether this 'All Night' charted for 48 weeks between 2013/2014 and originally peaked at #01 in the later months of 2013. It's currently back on my chart as I celebrate my fave songs of last year :cheer: Also it's v much better than I LOVE IT. LNuNJLlq8eQ What I Said This Year The same as last year 😂
November 20, 20204 yr Author #04 | The Saturdays | Not Giving Up 1361 points | 2014 RUN ONLY [36-22-11-14-13-20-20-18-14-13-09-04-05-05-05-06-05-04-08-13-14-20-32-39-47-50-64-72] 28 weeks JSG PEAK [2014] #04 | OCC PEAK #19 • What I Said In 2014 This originally peaked at #1 at the tail end of 2013 and then peaked at #04 in 2014 when the track was released. Originally after hearing this before the album was released i didn't like it at all but voila. It's good! gBoXld4URfk What I said This Year I absolutely adore this still and would rank it within their top.3 singles. I really do hope one day they come back. You can see if you look at the chart run for this how it repeaked after release.
November 20, 20204 yr Author #03 | Rebecca Ferguson | I Hope 1447 points | 2014 RUN ONLY [03-03-04-04-05-03-07-03-07-16-06-09-09-08-03-07-09-14-17-21-23-24-45-53-48-66-65-46-65-72] 30 weeks JSG PEAK [2014] #03 | OCC PEAK #15 • What I Said In 2014 So here we are in my top 3 and i bet a few of you would have thought that this would have been in my top 2. Oh well. Such a gorgeous track and for me the video is reminiscent of Firework. pUUU5LSbYHA What I Said This Year I remember this disdain for this when it released but you can clearly see it was a favourite of mine regardless. This still remains my favourite RB song to date and will most likely stay that way if she doesn't release anything else again.
November 20, 20204 yr Author #02 | Katy Perry & Juicy J | Dark Horse 1535 points | 2014 RUN ONLY [57-24-38-39-60-51-38-13-21-13-11-09-05-13-13-07-06-04-03-04-04-03-05-05-10-17-26-27-24-35-44-58-67] 33 weeks JSG PEAK #03 | OCC PEAK #04 • What I said In 2014 I initially didn't like this. This was it's chart run at first > [67-39-24-28-70-25-54-65-58] and then it dropped out for five weeks before returning and flying up to its peak and spending a further 33 weeks in my top 75. This is definitely one of Katy's best and I just hope her next album is full of tracks like this and ROAR. 0KSOMA3QBU0 What I Said This Year So I remember hating this to begin with which is evident by the chart run before 2014 and even into 2014 I was very meh on it. It's such a massive run for something that eventually grew on me though. I'd be happy for a return to this sorta sound in the future.

We're finally here and y'all knew what's was gonna be #1. I don't think it was a secret ever that it's what was gonna be here but I guess that after 21 pages it's just a tad anticlimatic. I wonder what next year will hold. PaKr9gWqwl4 What I Said This Year. What a way to end my countdown that year. Everyone knew what the song was and here was me thinking I would manage to surprise you all. I never thought this song would be topped for me, but Gold, Palomas new single has done it. It's super duper fantastico. Complete Top 10. 01. Paloma Faith - Only Love Can Hurt Like This - 1918 points 02. Katy Perry & Juicy J - Dark Horse - 1535 points 03. November 20, 20204 yr Mozart's House and Hey Brother are my highlights of your picks so far! I would say that I enjoyed most of Clean Bandit's first era but agree that they have gone downhill since then.
November 20, 20204 yr yay for Hey Brother, I'll pretend you didn't majorly shade WMU though -_- Ghost is a superb pop song too.
November 21, 20204 yr Hi there! As for your lists from 2013 & 2014, here are my highlights: 2013: "Mozart's House", "Dear Darlin" and "Die Young" 2014: "Ghost" and "Hey Brother" Great lists from you so far!
November 21, 20204 yr Author Mozart's House and Hey Brother are my highlights of your picks so far! I would say that I enjoyed most of Clean Bandit's first era but agree that they have gone downhill since then. Oh yeah Clean Bandit sold out big time. They've never recaptured the magic from that era for me.
November 21, 20204 yr Author yay for Hey Brother, I'll pretend you didn't majorly shade WMU though -_- Ghost is a superb pop song too. Ghost was amazing at the time. It still is now. I really do wish she'd release some similar stuff now though.

Just proving that Taylor is a psycho when it comes to men (obviously). Turning Pop has definitely done favours for Taylor and I really really hope her next album will 'bring it' Too, though I have no doubts cause she's consistently presented us with amazing music. What I'm Saying Now! While the video is fantastic still ❤️ I really don't have much of an opinion on this anymore. I really think I was just infatuated by her newfound direction music wise 😂
November 22, 20204 yr Author 09 | Paloma Faith | Only Love Can Hurt Like This | 1414 points 11-12-05-08-02-08-11-12-16-16-17-25-17-18-25-16-14-21-19-21-22-30-34-40 | 24 weeks EOY 2014 | #1 | EOY POINTS | 1918 PaKr9gWqwl4 What I Said In 2015 This made its proper impact on me in 2014 where it charted for its first 30 weeks but my infatuation with this song carried on for a full total of 54 weeks :o Probably her best song for me also but her ballads are where her strength is!! What I'm Saying This Year So this was 2014's EOY #1 for me, which you've obviously just seen. I think I was onto something with Palomas ability to really shine through her Ballads. They've never failed to shine in amongst her albums, although Gold from her newest album, while not a ballad has usurped everything 🤷🏻♂️ There are some lovely ballads on there.
