It's now showing at #62 for me!

I still don't believe that this is a sensible/logical release tactic. I suppose if she feels that a few downloads of the song for 99p, or the full EP for £2.49 (which includes half of her album...) is worthwhile, ok.

Her album isn't Top 1500 on iTunes anymore. The Deluxe CD is down to #1355 on Amazon (it was in the 700s area yesterday).

Yeah it is a weird one, I think it is mostly that radio and promoters know that the song exists and she will campaign internally for it to flourish after the Christmas period is over. Technically there is no reason as to why she would release this now so close to Christmas, everyone gets completely eaten up by festival songs...

Lets hope it peaks up next month :cheer:

It's annoying how this sounds so much like a hit but would never be one in a million years. :(

I guess we can hope that Radio 2 A-lists it post-Christmas like they did with Blame It On Me and it manages to pick up some casual sales. I think that's more important than a quick iTunes peak.

Such a bop though, and it being on streaming means I'll hear it a whole lot more (I don't tend to listen to music on iTunes anymore considering my playlists are on streaming sites, so plays of the deluxe tracks have suffered)

Unfortunately it will not happen. When things get cold she won't want so much work for little result.
I doubt there will be a video, they are expensive and she already made one that was a complete waste of time for Fearless.

I really cant believe she released Fearless as a single, let alone as the single to launch the album

In a funny way, it is typical Mel C move, but what a waste of money... the worst song on the album :o

Here's hoping she did save some cash for this one but even then, I dont see it becoming a hit. It might help sell some extra copies of the album but lets see how that works.

I can totally see why she went for fearless but it wouldnt have been my choice.

Melanie’s single choices this campaign have been a triumph compared to other eras .

For sure, she was much better with her single choices this year, apart from fearless lol

Into You is the 21st highest placed song included on Spotify's New Music Friday - surprisingly it's above new songs by Ella Henderson and Britney Spears.

That's good for her, not loads of big new releases this time of year though which helps.

How does this compare with Melanie's previous singles?
