I found one or two songs I listened to specifically in November made my top 100 so perhaps the cut off point varies although I don't get that personally lol.

 

I should imagine the like of 'Blinding Lights', 'Head and Heart' & 'Rain On Me' will see impacts if they do.

I'm a little surprised its at 629k seeing as its being doing so much better than last year so far but last 1st of December it done 676k (but that was a Sunday to be fair)

but if Amazon wanna make sure Bieber is top 10, they'll have to report very high streams,

and since Mariah is much higher than Bieber on their list, they'll also have to report a big figure for her, so that's positive I think :D

Did Spotify Wrapped playlists have any kind of effect on hits from earlier in the year last year? They're a huge talking point all over social media today and the cut-off point was November so a disadvantage to Christmas songs. *probably just results in 'Blinding Lights' climbing a bit again* :lol:

 

I'm not sure if a substantial amount of people actually listen through their playlist though or just post the stats to social media. I listened to some of mine at least :P

It get masked a bit by Christmas music but there's usually a definite bump, which more or less rides momentum into mid-January* if not later.

With ACR taken into account 34+35 is #4, the top 5 Xmas songs are in the top 10 still with Prisoner at #11 and Sweet Melody at #12

So surprised by how well '34+35' is doing - it's so easy for quick follow-up hits to get overshadowed by a previous big hit ('positions' is still at #1 officially of course) but that has really held its own since the music video boost. Also, I'm shocked that Mariah didn't even do double Ari's numbers on what was expected to be her biggest day :o perhaps my hunch about 'positions' getting a 6th week at #1 was right after all. Mariah to hold off the Alexa songs in a few weeks though please :lol:
