Ed being #1 on HHUK is so ridic, every other huge female popstar struggle to even go top 20 / 30 when put on it.

I mean, to be fair, Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest artists around (rivalled only by Adele surely, and she's been quiet for 5 years now). If they don't add him to #1 on HHUK, they wouldn't add anyone...!

It was only last year

That's really the thing I hate about Spotify playlisting. There's a small group of artists who always get instantly added as number one and cover on all big, influential playlists that exist. Spotify people guarantee them all possible promo before they even hear the song. And at the same time there are other artists who will never get added to HH or TTH no matter what. And because big playlists are hermetic so are higher regions of the charts.

He's 39 on Apple Music now. I think this release is going slightly under the radar for his standards because of the time he's chosen to release it.
