TWINKCLASH was a game, similar to SOUNDCLASH in other parts of Buzzjack, run in the Shawn Mendes forum that started in August 2020, with Shawn Mendes going up against another 'twink' with a single that would (hopefully) see him through to the next round to face a new artist - or, if the opposing artist won, see them through to face a new artist. Shawn ended up being the outright winner of the competition, lasting the same number of rounds as Why Don't We, the runners-up, however lasting one round less than Conan Gray who ultimately finished in third place due to less total votes received. Troye Sivan and Matteo Markus Bok completed the top five, while down at the other end of the leaderboard in joint thirteenth place were Blair St. Clair, a drag queen known for appearing on Season 10 and All Stars 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race (and has since gone on to release music), and New Hope Club, a British boy-band.

The first edition of Battle of the Canadians spawned from, obviously, Shawn being Canadian and wondering how he'd fare against some other Canadian artists in a survivor-type poll. So, over the course of a number of rounds, we let Shawn battle it out with some Canadian peers to see who would come out on top at the end of it all with all scores and performances added together to give an overall, final total. With more Canadian artists waiting in the wings to go up against Shawn, we had to bring Battle of the Canadians back! With a fresh crop of artists in the mix, it was time to see if Shawn would conquer them all after losing out to Avril Lavigne in the first edition. Fortunately for Shawn, he managed to improve upon his final position from the first edition, however it was Céline Dion that won this time. For the second edition, instead of having every artist stick around for each round too, we introduced eliminations whereby the artist in each round with the least number of votes for their song did not progress - so it made for some interesting results, particularly for artists that some wished to see included first time around! AF Idol, a competition held in the Artist Forum Hub section of Buzzjack, aims to bring together the community for a survivor-style ranking of one song each round by every artist that has their own forum. In the end, the artist(s) with the least number of votes are given the chop and do not progress. In this second edition of the contest, it was Shawn's first time competing as the forum didn't exist the first time AF Idol took place, and the results weren't spectacular. Shawn was eliminated in the third round when we sent Bad Reputation, an album track from his second album Illuminate.

Receiving all of the votes in the final round of the survivor for Shawn's self-titled third album, In My Blood is the winner, while Nervous finished in a very respectable second place. The survivor was run over a number of rounds, with members voting for their least favourite song from the album in each round until we decided a winner.
