Posted December 13, 20204 yr Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information. If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. December 13, 20204 yr about time Tate McRae bogged off to ACR really, although Christmas had already given her a sharp chart decline this week anyway. I think it is very likely that Blinding Lights will overtake Dance Monkey's total sales eventually too, it truly is a mammoth hit. It probably won't overtake Someone You Loved, however - that takes the title for 'biggest hit in years'.

Would also have made it a contender for #1 on the chart of 1 Jan when almost everything is set to be on ACR. :lol:

Indeed, and Someone You Loved is still selling very strongly too - it's not going to be easy if Blinding Lights wants to overtake.

Doesn't really feel like 'i miss u' has been around for 9 weeks already oops, that kind of ran out of steam pretty quickly - still possible it could have a second wind in January though as Jax's songs have a habit of making January breakthroughs? All of the biggest current non Christmas hits so far on track to hit ACR for the first chart of 2021 :magic:
