Do some people only use spotify in December crazy that can go from such humongous streams to so little

 

this is actually the 1st time it's happened. In previous years, streams were back to normal as soon as the Xmas songs left

 

it's either lockdown-related or Spotify has lost users to Amazon :)

Ariana still #1 with just 221K, Whootpy at #3 with 207K

streaming figures on Spotify are not improving

crazy that a huge hit like Sweet Melody can barely do 150K

Sweet Melody has been out since October, I don't think anyone is expecting huge numbers from it nearly 3 months on.

They aren't exactly Ariana Grande when it comes to streaming

The fact its still getting 156k and new songs like justin bieber are only pulling 190k says alot.

Things really do seem to be looking good for Justin to be #1 next week, the gap on Spotify is narrowing daily, he's doing well on downloads and #1 on Apple!

the shocking thing is that Anyone is a Camilla reject :)

 

the one song that is gonna be huge is SZA - Good days, already so high with zero playlist support

in the US it just climbed to #1 on Spotify and has still not impacted radio or has a video

Ooh I missed 'Dead Man Walking' entering the top 200 - that song has been around for a while so I'm gonna have a sneaky guess it might be getting big on TikTok now? (Wouldn't be the first time for Brent Faiyaz as that's also how 'Trust' entered the top 100). Whatever the reason, happy to see it, was a top 10 hit on my personal chart a few months ago, a great R&B track <3 he reminds me a lot of Miguel.

 

Cool to see Glass Animals still reaching new heights too. And... I guess 'Goosebumps' is coming to finally be a top 40 hit in some form, already our first dance remake top 40 hit of 2021 lol (not heard this version yet so I won't slag it off until then xx).

A Glass Animals re-peak either this or next week would be a great start to 2021!
