Evan Peters involvement is just an Easter egg and there’s something bigger in the works for the characters in the X-Men universe? I mean if that universe’s Quicksilver is there then surely we’ll get Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers and the like in the future...?

just an easter egg and there definitely is going to be more to it! Has anyone else noticed how the kids only grew when Agnes was around? I'm pretty sure she's controlling Wanda through Mephisto who I am going to guess is disguised as Dottie!

 

Also the "Aerospace Engineer" that Monica refers to rather ambiguously, could that be Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic)?

WandaVision is totally gonna introduce us to F4 through SWORD, they made a whole deal about them not sending people into space anymore presumably linked to the Blip and I would take a guess that the energy surrounding all that is how F4 gained their powers in a manned ship into space. Maybe when we see Wandas perspective of taking Vision from the testing facility we’ll see glimpses of any F4 members also being tested on/studied?

 

There’s a lot they could do with introducing the Fantastic 4 but they either have to have gained powers post-Blip (or literally during the events of Endgame) or to have been trapped or absent since years prior (taking the lines of Antman stuck in the Quantum Realm) for Doctor Strange to not know of their existence as he would have otherwise brought them in to the final battle during Endgame.

 

I’m just very excited about the next few years for Marvel :lol: I’m loving the shift of focus towards a different Avengers centering around Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Antman, Wanda etc

"Who's the popsicle?": a) knows he's dead? b) doesn't know who he is? c) Wanda thinks he's her brother Multiverse Implications and Wanda is being manipulated....

 

It's made clear Wanda can't bring things back to life, and Vision we know is still "dead" - but he's not biological life, so different rules presumably

 

Who's trying to kill Wanda right now with a drone.....? Why? Almost as if trying to antagonise her and send her over the edge into complete breakdown...

 

The latest episode was amazing, I am hooked on this show and I can't wait for the next episode.

 

I love that Darcy has got quite a big role in this too as I loved her in the Thor films but then she wasn't seen for ages so I'm glad she is back.

 

There's so much mysterious stuff going on I dunno what is going to happen next.

So they’ve already parodied Bewitched, Cheers, and now Malcolm In The Middle for the “TV show inside a TV show” trope :P

'Modern Family' will be for Episode 7 I think and that will bring us right up to date with the Sitcom stuff! But I'm expecting things to really blow up now. That ending... WOW. I've never hated end credits so much in my life tbh :lol:

Quicksilver is not real, he is dead, he's created by wanda for the "sitcom" and has no memories of the real Quicksilver

 

Monica Rambeau is going into the new expanded town - as she will change into a superhero, presumably, if her cells get exposed again to Wanda's energy.

 

Most townspeople are being held in zombie states, wanda doesn;t remember key stuff

 

Agnes doesn;t appear to be involved in the ongoing stuff - when Vision frees her mind she is genuinely distraught and confused.

 

Vision doesnt remember anything pre-Town and starts to fragment outside the town, so he is still dead and doesnt exist.

 

 

 

I caught up on this over the weekend- I am more of a casual Marvel fan than a diehard (I've only seen about half the movies) but this is great. I was a bit put off my the trailers when they dropped last year, but I actually really enjoyed the first couple of episodes where it was in full sitcom. It is honestly like watching a movie in the form of a TV show, although it does bug me where the episodes are 35 minutes long, but are more like 25 :lol: Even though I knew it was coming, it was fantastic to see

Quicksilver return, although not sure this is evidence of the mutli-verse although it is a nice tease.

And before I had even read anything, I totally thought that Monica is off to see

Reed Richards

and likely start the origins for the

Fantastic Four

.

I've never seen anything marvel but my friend told me to watch this for aesthetics alone and I kinda love it. such a great idea going through the decades and so nostalgic for eras I wasn't even born in.

 

Q tho.. if I ever wanna go back and watch all the films from the start, have I been given major spoilers like?

Well kinda unless it went over your head with

people returning after 5 years

although I don't think the show explicitly states why it happens. You can get away with only watching a few films though.. probably Avengers, Thor 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame. And maybe Antman 2 as well. I'd probably just watch all the Avengers movies and Civil War if you find the time as that's where all the major stuff happens.

Ok that was legit amazing. What an episode! It feels criminal to have to wait another week for the next episode.

 

I was so disinterested at the start of this season but now I'm HOOKED. Kathryn Hahn and Elizabeth Olsen are absolutely killing it. Kat Dennings and Paul Bettany are great too as always.

 

FYI there was a mid credits scene in E7 (the first one this season AFAIK).

 

On a somewhat unrelated note: can we get a Marvel character rate going? I've been on a Marvel binge lately and would love to see what we collectively think of all the mains.

I absolutely love how they make each sitcom parody fit PERFECTLY with the ongoing storyline. The mockumentary format in particular was perfect to allow Wanda to reflect after last week’s ending.

was the topping reveal gem! So now we know
