Posted January 22, 20214 yr Chart Analysis This week's chart is book-ended by remix re-entries! At the lower end we have Ariana Grande returning with 34+35, this time joined by Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion. At the other end is Perfume Genius, scoring his second #1 with the newly remixed Your Body Changes Everything. It's almost unrecognisable from the original but gives the song a fresh feel that was enough to instantly propel it to the top! It's only the second time a song has re-entered at #1, after Hayley Williams with the Caroline Polachek remix of Simmer. Also new to the top ten are songs by Pale Waves and MisterWives, while first-ever top tens are earned by Danny L Harle and Jae Stephens. I think I heard the original version of buzz cut but it didn't do anything for me, giving the MisterWives one a listen now and it's sounding better than I remember it actually! Maybe the MisterWives addition nbumps it up a bit. Great chart :D
