its because its an immensely popular song and widely regarded as a classic.

 

(but I wouldn’t be against OCC just permanently yeeting it out the official chart to save a spot for a newer song)

Just for reference before the Super Bowl tonight, on AM The Weeknd Currently as Save Your Tears at #14, Blinding Lights at #17, In Your Eyes at #261 and Starboy at #342 and some other lower down. And on the albums The Highlights is #7 and After Hours is #23

Will be interesting to see how much effect it has over here, I think because a lot of the material will be new it'll have a bigger effect than a few of the other recent ones

I can't see R1 not playlisting it. For comparison, they didn't playlist 'Tick Tock' until 3 weeks after it was released.

It's on Capital too, so it's not over yet. (I think it's their weakest single in a while myself though..)

well, after doing zero on week 1 on Apple, Clean Bandit have now big climbed into the top 75 there, so we never know...

 

at what time was the Super Bowl thing? cos theres very little effect x The Weeknd on Apple so far...
