a bunch of interesting releases tonight:

new Dua Lipa, new Rita Ora, new (old) Taylor, new Pink

Headie One is dropping a deluxe of his album tonight, a new single featuring Burna Boy has just been released. Headie's chart success is super inconsistent so will be interesting to see if this one can make an impact on the Spotify top 200 straight away like the Digga D/AJ Tracey song from last week or if it'll have to wait a day.

 

There aren't really any big features among the other new songs so wouldn't expect it to make a huge splash.

Hope ‘The Business’ can break 200k streams a day and establish himself in the top 5.

 

Interesting how Apple seems to be leading the way with some upcoming hits breaking the top 10 there a lot earlier than Spotify. I’m looking at ATB here and even Shane Codd in January.

Dance hits just tend to get significant playlist spots earlier on Apple than they do on Spotify. That's been a trend for a while.

yes, and actually even going top 10 on Apple doesn't mean much for those dance tracks

if then Spotify doesn't support them, like that Punctual song last year went top 10 on Apple but only made it low top 100 in the charts
