February 7, 20214 yr Author 1 FOUR - I think this was an absolute triumph, which is why it of course had to be the album with the least promotion, curse you Zayn! :lol: Seriously, I think it's a shame we couldn't have had at least one more single - Where Do Broken Hearts Go is one of their best songs and such a missed hit opportunity, and 18's streams suggest that one was a HUGE missed opportunity too! They could've definitely re-recorded Zayn's vocals for a couple of single mixes without necessarily having to re-issue the whole album :( 2 Take Me Home - a step-up from the debut in every way, lots of potential singles and some great examples of progression too. Think they could've squeezed one more single out of this too - They Don't Know About Us would surely have been big (the fact it's silver certified without being a single...!) 3 Up All Night - as far as debut albums go, I think they hit the nail on the head here, it does everything it needs to! 4 Made in the A.M. - not every song on this quite hits the spot but still great on the whole 5 Midnight Memories - this being last says more about the other four albums than it does about Midnight Memories but I've never quite gelled with this one on the same level as the other four, probably has the most songs I'd skip on any 1D album (but also some really great tracks too!)

February 8, 20214 yr It was harder than I thought. 1. Four 2. Take Me Home 3. Midnight Memories 4. Made in the A.M. 5. Up All Night I was just rating song by song and shocked by the result. I thought MM will be first in my rating. MM has so many songs I love so much and so many songs I don't even remember. Didn't expect MITAM to be so low, I love DMD and Perfect a lot! I also can't believe Four is #1 but there are too many good songs.

FOUR is just SO GOOD :wub: definitely the best way for Zayn to bow out - a lot of material from him on there and easily their strongest album, all killer no filler! Midnight Memories and Take Me Home are both about as brilliant as each other, so many bops :heart: Made in the A.M. is the only album I'd probably cherry-pick the most from, oops. Bonus points for just having Perfect alone on it though *.*
