Blow Your Mind didn't age that well imo! Nearly the entire Future Nostalgia era being top 20 *.*

Rooting for Pretty Please :cheeseblock:

'Scared To Be Lonely' is just awful cacophonous noise to me, I hate that type of music so much.

'Blow Your Mind' is also atrocious, but I'd say 'Bad Together' and the 'Not That Kind of Woman' remix deserved better.

20. Love is Religion (Blessed Madonna Remix) (7.72)

19. Un Dia (with Bad Bunny, J Balvin & Tainy) (7.77)

Opening up our top 20 is probably some unsurprising losses at this point- many people seemed to write off the Club Future Nostalgia album upon release meaning it did end up receiving some scores that dragged its average down a little. I really hope she releases the original of Love is Religion one day as it is really great. Dua’s Grammy-nominated Spanish collab is next, UN DIA (One Day), a collab with heavyweights Bad Bunny, J Balvin and Tainy. The song did really well in Latin America and had racked up hundreds of millions of streams but many hoped for a more lively collab.

Sigh that "Bad Together" and the Jacques Lu Cont's remix of "That Kind of Woman" couldn't make the Top 20, but glad how far they went.

The Blessed Madonna remix of "Love Is Religion" is really good as well. "Un Día (One Day)" is inescapable in Latin America as it was mentioned because it's played every time at my local radio stations.

18. Future Nostalgia (7.83)

17. Cool (8.08)

The opening and title track from Future Nostalgia- you guessed it- Future Nostalgia, leaves us at 18 with a very respectable score of 7.83. I think of the two album openers it’s just my favourite but I love both of them- it really establishes the whole era and releasing it before the album release really helped us gage an idea of the era which was definitely exciting. Cool is next, whilst I like this, it’s probably the weakest for me on the album beside the obvious two oops. Absolutely has its fans and I will bop when it’s on for sure.

Seems about right for both of those! Both are solid 9s for me and really work well in the context of the album track list order

16. IDGAF (8.13)

15. Pretty Please (8.2)

From release, I think we could all tell that, love it or hate it, IDGAF was gonna be a sure-fire hit for Dua and it went on to be certified double platinum and become one of her biggest worldwide hits- the video is also fantastic and worked fabulously as a follow-up to New Rules. I didn’t think it was going to be a contender for top 10 however as it’s never fared as well as many of her other big hits so glad to see it score a more than respectable 16. Pretty Please scoring a top 15 placing is a popjustice if there ever was one- the Future Nostalgia rate I held after the release of the album saw this rank as the fourth worst on the album so to see it now be held in higher regard than Cool is lovely to see. I ADORE this song and would probably put this in my all-time top 5 of her discography at this point!

14. Last Dance (8.38)

13. Fever (feat. Angele) (8.4)

Two absolute BANGERS next however both very different types of bangers. First we have electronic, big vocals, bop Last Dance that exceeds all my expectations to finish in 14th- but what a song. The big note before we finally crash into the final drop are flawless and was such a moment live. Subtle, understated bop next with Angele-collab: Fever, I immediately wrote this one off a little but I have really come round to it’s gorgeous production and that chorus in falsetto is truly lush. The music video is also a really cute moment and helped it become a long-running French number 1!

Fever is sensationally beautiful! It's still growing on me after 4 months and the Feder Remix totally slapped me!

12. Be The One (8.54)

11. Prisoner (with Miley Cyrus) (8.66)

A song that once would contend for number one in these rates is now out at number 12: Be The One! A case of it aging badly or just a lot of fiercer competition being released since- who knows? The song was a huge hit for Dua upon its re-release peaking at number 9 in the UK- it’s the quintessential early Dua track using that interesting electronic production from Digital Farm Animals and would be nice for her to release something similar one day! A surprise next- a track I did not think would end up placing higher than a few of these tracks, BTO and Last Dance in particular but here it is- another top 10 for Dua with Miley collab Prisoner. Maybe it’s recency bias putting this so far up the list as it’s a solid song but BTO has definitely always been held in higher regard.
