I love fearless. The guitar really stands out more to me on this version.

And Hey Stephen has such a more mature feel to it. Very much liking her ad libs towards the end! Fifteen also feels like a mature sound. I feel like the Instruments and her voice feel so much stronger.

I don’t know why but I much prefer this version of You Belong With Me. And Breathe too - I just think her voice sounds better - idk what it is. And You Belong With Me sounds so much more different, maybe dominant... if that’s the right word idk

I can’t quite see many differences with untouchable but love this version as much as I love the version on the first album.

Forever and Always  Her voice on the piano version!

Change sounds better. I’d rate this higher than my meagre 7 on the first album.

We Were Happy is sweet. I’m not 100% sure atm if I’ll return to it much - I need to listen a couple of times to see if it takes off for me. The bridge is definitely the highlight.

First impressions of That’s When are strong. Very strong actually. Their voices work well together, especially the harmonies towards the end of the song. I think this is going to grow and grow on me.

Don’t You sounds beautiful ! Wow! The lyrics are pretty intense. I’ll listen to this one a lot I think.

Bye Bye Baby - it’s okay. Doesn’t really hook me in. I’ll listen more to see if that changes.

You All Over Me is growing on me. I feel like I like it more than a few weeks ago. Still a bit boring though. I think my favourite song from the vault is still Mr Perfectly Fine.

All in all, this feels like an A+ version of the first album.

my ranking of the new tracks after some more listens:

1. Mr. Perfectly Fine

2. That's When (ft. Keith Urban)

3. We Were Happy

4. Don't You

5. You All Over Me (ft. Maren Morris)

6. Bye Bye Baby

yeah I feel pretty good with this order. WWH/DY are interchangeable though and I'm feeling the same about both of them rn.

MPF is def the highlight. I also really love that's when now, a great song & Taylor + Keith work so well together!! Will def be returning to those 2 a lot <3 WWH is v. good & that bridge is perfection but I need slightly more to love, Don't You is really nice but feels like its missing something to stop me from loving it, but its def grown from being 6th in my original ranking. I could def see it on 1989/Lover though! (it reminds me quite a bit of like the vibe of this love/clean/the archer etc). The other 2 are nice fillers, perfectly fitting for Fearless deluxe x

I would've probs liked another uptempo bop but seeing the album booklet & Taylor saying one of the reasons some songs she adored missed the album was because she was told there was too many down-tempo songs on it, so I get why nearly all of these are down-tempo :kink:

I can’t stop listening to Mr Perfectly Fine. I’m addicted. Send help...

I'm not crying.

 (also doesn't help I'm listening to forever & always piano version rn </3)

 Taylor doesn’t need a marketing team - she pretty much does a great job at creating her own promotion and hype ! I’m sure she gets marketing support but seriously a very clever marketing machine.

I don’t wanna get ‘political’ here but I am so impressed that after failing to acquire the rights for her first 6 albums, she’s managed to re-record this album which she now owns the rights to. She’s managed to stay faithful to the originals and any changes made have only made it better. Power to her ! I will never listen to the first album against :funky:

Don’t You is my favourite of the vault tracks I think 😱

Actually really like them all though, I prefer most of them to the majority of the main album.

Wasn’t really looking forward to the Keith Urban one at all but I actually love it 😅

Don’t you is beautiful

I am loving this - had it on for most of the day

Her vocals are sounding amazing! That along with the new vault songs have made me appreciate Fearless more as an album - these re-recordings are really going to mess with my album rankings

Also, 'Mr Perfectly Fine' is probably my favourite on the album... i'm obsessed!!

early US projections are in: Taylor Swift | Fearless (Taylor’s Version) [Republic] 275-325k total activity, 160-190k albums

Taylor Swift’s third album in nine months, Fearless (Taylor’s Version), is a lock for #1 on next week’s HITS Top 50. Punching above forecast, the Republic release could top 300k. This is especially noteworthy considering the majority of the album is made up of re-recorded tracks from 2008's Fearless, which has sold over 10m album equivalents to date.

absolutely insane :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: that's not even that far from evermore & may even match it if it hits the maximum projection! Her power for a 13 year old album re-recording!!!

Also the biggest first day for an album released in 2021 on spotify this year so far :cheeseblock:
