Posted December 3, 200618 yr Almost forgot to post this tonight. Oops! SINGLES 2. Scissor Sisters 5. Slade 6. Lazytown 14. Jamelia 21. Paolo Nutini Interesting. Very quiet week. Scissors may end up that high as there's nothing challenging out. I think they're more likely to settle around number 5! Can't see Slade anywhere near that high either. ALBUMS 20. Mary J Blige 29. Lil Chris 30. Gwen Stefani 36. Johnny Mathis 37. Eminem 38. Emma Bunton 39. Jason Donovan 40. Vanessa Hudgens 50. Andrea Bocelli I know that its much harder to debut high in December, but surely they're being a bit pessimistic. I'd expect Mary J and Gwen to make it into the top 10 at least?
December 3, 200618 yr Thank you Dazzle! Lazytown :cheer: Slade as well  and Jamelia a bit low really. :( I agree that Gwen Stefani should go Top10 on albums.
December 3, 200618 yr Something tells me SS will be slightly lower, LazyTown definitely lower, rest looks about right
December 4, 200618 yr They're really unpredicting Gwen Stefani :o I'd expect it top 10 at most about #7-8ish. That singles chart is even more laughable than usual as if SS could climb 68-2  I think it'll do a Killers and be top 15. I'd expect Jamelia to be about #8 and that's about it for top 10 unless Eminem makes it on downloads alone. Very quiet for start of December - reminds me of the dire December of the equally dire 2004.
December 4, 200618 yr 2. Scissor Sisters - This will be around the 15 mark, look at the download position. 5. Slade - Could be, I expect low top 10. 6. Lazytown - Who? :o 14. Jamelia - Should comfortably get top 10. 21. Paolo Nutini - Hopefully, preferably lower.
December 4, 200618 yr I actually don't think Gwen Stefani will do that well. I think she might just miss the top10 with her new album.
December 4, 200618 yr Releasing the album before the single is a stupid strategy, that'll ensure it flops next week. :(
December 4, 200618 yr Tbh the Gwen situation is a mess, there's no way to predict it imo, it could go either way. I mean we don't know all that much yet on how people away from this board thinks or whether its popular, if the download was out maybe it'd be easier to gauge... She's really underpromoted though imo, she should climb next year that said :D
December 4, 200618 yr Downloads will help Slade nearer to xmas...the CD single will make all of the downloads eligible for the chart :-) What is that Eminem album? Should that not be higher than No.37?
December 4, 200618 yr i hope scissor sisters and jamelia go top 5/10 jamelia really needs a big hit with this as the album needs to start selling
December 4, 200618 yr I very much doubt that, Top 20 at best... It'll make the top 10 on downloads...
December 4, 200618 yr I very much doubt that, Top 20 at best... Disagree, Chris Cornell has been #2 on iTunes for a while now. He's not being stock by woolies as the single is not out until next week.
December 4, 200618 yr Pfft not stocking Enya. <_< Totally underestimating Gwen too. :o I'll be buying both this week. :D
