February 20, 20214 yr Can't be upset at Baila Baila going to AC. He's charming and his performance was great, but the song is bland. I thought Klara was going to lose out tbh. Emil not going forward is deserved on account on the weak verses, but the chorus is very sing-a-long in the pub. Tusse is an obvious pick for a winner at this point.

February 21, 20214 yr "Baila Baila" was my favourite as generic as it is - that, Tusse and Charlotte were my clear top 3 so pleasing to see them all progress and for justice to be served to Mustach (not just due to the sexual harassment but the song was also garbage, the worst entry this year so far). Was a toss up between Klara and Emil for the 4th spot for me, but nice for Klara to do better than last year even if the song isn't as good as "Nobody". For anyone doubting Charlotte's chances in the final, she's yet to lose a Melfest final that she's competed in and she doesn't plan to start now!
February 21, 20214 yr Tusse has now overtaken Dotter as the favourite to win, which really doesn’t surprise me. I think he’ll win the public vote, unless Eric/The Mamas have something incredible, so let’s see who takes more of the international jury votes. That could go any way really.
February 21, 20214 yr The correct five made it through the first stage and on the whole I can't complain at the results last night. Charlotte delivered *.* and Tusse's song is lovely, if not something I really want to see winning (but preparing myself for it). Klara's song is lovely and Alvaro brought a BOP, and Emil deserved better too I think so a good heat on the whole.

February 22, 20214 yr Yep, Still Young is rivalling Dotter as my favourite from this year. An absolute anthem! I'm a sucker for both schlager and the folk-pop sound, so to hear the two together delivered by legend Harlot is real magic. An instant Melfest classic that really does not deserve the token schlagerdrottingen last place in the final, I'd love to see it somehow do a LOT better than the odds suggest.

February 22, 20214 yr FINALLY caught up and Still Young is comfortably my favourite song of the year. The Smith & Thell meets schlager comparisons could not have been more accurate and the bridge between those two sounds could not have been married much better. THE STRUTTING, THE SILENCE, THE STAGING. :wub:
