Hope Olivia can stay number 1, 'What's Next' is not good, the freestyle and 'Wants and Needs' are far better.

Wonder if Spotify will have an all female Hot Hits for International Women’s Day tomorrow like they did last year, it was great to see last year

and yes they did it! very nice list

Olivia is of course track #1 :)

yay for IWD putting Regardless finally as high as Track 15, hopefully it gets a nice little boost.

Lol that they can't find a spot for Rita Ora's new single, and instead they've put her ancient 'Your Song' right at the bottom of the playlist though. And Jax Jones seemingly counting as a woman now as 'I Miss U' is still on the playlist (all female vocals, but no other solely male-led producer track is on - unless you count Clean Bandit for being more males than females)

well they also have Tom Greennan in the Ella duet ;)

thought the same about Rita, wouldn't have been so hard to add the song with Imanbeek

Might be mildly useful to post the playlist here for future reference:

Impressed that 'cardigan' is on there at all with how hard it was exiled (no pun intended) from playlists

Great to see 'React' on the playlist, such an underrated pop bop!

And lol @ them begrudgingly adding Rita right at the end. It seems her lockdown antics are having quite a significant effect on her career.

are Apple also doing something similar? Olivia was down to #8 yesterday on Apple, and now she's up again to #5, but not sure if it's just random
Apple have a section called “Women Run Our Playlists” with most of the major playlists in it, but the likes of Todays’s Hits has all men as the first 4 songs... Maybe women are just a bit more prominent than usual on them I’m not sure

Might just be the post-weekend effect?

Spotify

1 olivia 315K

2 Lil Tjay

3 Lemon Pepper Freestyle

6 Wants and Needs

7 Whats Next 208K

The Drake songs still in that order then! I wonder how long that will last for.
Looking good for Olivia. Wonder if the label requests that it should't be on ACR next week (isn't that possible these days if the song is still a focus track?)

Edited by Sour Candy

^I think that was only for the week after Xmas, now the standard ACR rules apply
Wellerman #5 combined - looks good to stay Top 2 officially at this point
Thanks to tiktok

147. Gym Class Heroes ft. Patrick Stump - Cupid's Chokehold / Breakfast in America

Is there anything TikTok can't revive?
