and the Amazon numbers are the opposite of huge so might make the difference :)

rather have Olivia at #1 for 16 weeks than crappy Drake songs, he really needs to go back to more pop sounds

or at least use nice samples like when he sampled Lauryn Hill

Edited by Bjork

I would think that beyond the initial hype of the EP drop which is dividing the fanbase's attention between the three songs, we'll see 'What's Next' holding up far better than the other two and possibly increasing?

LMAO I need to retire from making chart predictions apparently :deadbanana:

'Lemon Pepper Freestyle' holding up the best of the 3 songs makes so little sense to me - it's 6 minutes long, this flies in the face of the usual logic of shorter songs being better for repeat streams (and as far as I am aware it's one of his rambly 'diary entry' style songs which are never usually big hits). It must somehow be the preferred song by UK Spotify users by a huge margin to be overtaking the other 2 songs despite that disadvantage... (over in the US it was way behind the other 2 songs both yesterday and today).

inb4 'people are just listening to 30 seconds of it'

This.

Yes, less than 2 years after literally putting Drake's face on every single curated playlist including those for playlists his music would never appear on, they are totally now pulling some convoluted conspiracy to keep him off #1.

even Rapcaviar, the most popular playlist for rap, is now listed as #Rapcaviar ft Drake", he's on the cover

and has the 3 songs as tracks #1, #2 and #11

Spotify is definitely mistreating him... NOT :D

maybe if Drake released a single instead of an EP, he’d still be number one.

clearly some Drake fans are preferring this freestyle over the actual single off the EP which they’d be spamming instead if that were the only song released this week.

anyway at least Olivia is likely to succumb to ACR after this week.

I'm also somewhat surprised by the order of the three, certainly didn't see that coming and having listened to all three of them What's Next was my favourite as well, hopefully that does get back to being his highest again soon anyway!

All of the new KOL songs are out on Day 2, meanwhile Sex on Fire is up to #139 :')

Ella & Tom making a new Spotify peak is amazing, love seeing Ella continuing to thrive under her new label.

Yep pretty much guaranteed last chance Olivia’s ‘Drivers License’ has at no.1 officially as her Spotify streams are down 10% this week compared to last (based on Friday and Saturdays figures). :(

What would replace her? Lil Tijay if Drake is frontloaded.

I think Wellerman might be the favourite at that point

Yes wouldn’t be surprised if there was a big push/campaign for ‘Wellerman’ if no.1 was in reach. That kind of record.
Terrible new Drake material or yet another week week at #1 for Olivia. Urgh. I guess this means there is still a chance for 'Wellerman' to take the #1 the week after which I would be happy with, even if i'd prefer something new.

Can you please stop with your vendetta against Olivia. Adding conspiracy theories into the mix is a bit much.

Wonder if Spotify will have an all female Hot Hits for International Women’s Day tomorrow like they did last year, it was great to see last year

It's not the case on Hot Hits Australia, but there's still time for it to change I guess

oh my if they do change it, the loons will say it's Spotify favouring Olivia :D
