This has leaked ahead of an official release tomorrow. On first listen I think it's slightly better than "Alcohol You" based on the absence of the dreadful 'alcohol you when I'm drunk' line but it's still pretty meh. What has happened to the Romania that would send yodelling and double-sided pianos :(

That yodeling thing was my "worst of the decade" entry.

I fully predicted 'Alcohol You' to be the fan-wnk to flop at the semis last year - by the sounds of it this won't be much better. I'll reserve full judgement for when the song is out but it seems Romania is well into their 'dark ages'. Hoping I'm wrong though, a Eurovision in Bucharest sounds like (a very cheap) dream!

Slightly better than Alcohol You but that's not saying a lot! It's very "bottom of New Music Friday song you'd give a single listen to" :lol: I spent the whole song waiting for it to go somewhere and it just didn't.

Really rated Alcohol You highly last year and I love the sound production that Romania offered last year, not that I think it is from Roxen per se. Amnesia has one heck of a legacy to inherit.

The production was good. I didn't like the word play of the chorus.

It's getting really tedious when singers sounds like asthmatic robots. First Elena, then Lesley and now Roxen.

 

Ameneia reminds me of Summertime Sadness.

I’m into it. I query how competitive it is though?

Her diction is not the best in the chorus is it?

Does she actually sing or is it just talking and then they apply pitch correction to make the melody? They don't even try and make it sound natural.
